Sayuri
I released a sigh as soon as I saw the pink gown in front of me.
"I don't like it." I bluntly told my brother as he stared at me with an annoyed face.
"Why not? It looks good on you." He said and gave me the gown. "Don't you like it?"
"Amari sukide wa arimasen." (I don't like it very much.) I dropped the gown on the floor and crossed my arms, "Pinku ga ō sugite kitakunai." (It's too much pink, I don't want to wear that.)
Uriel rolled his eyes. "Fine then." He picked up the gown and walked out. I released another sigh and glared at the ground. Why do they want me to attend that stupid party? I just want to sleep right now until Sunday.
I just got home from school and now he's telling me that wants me to wear that stupid gown tomorrow. I don't even like to celebrate my birthday with them, I just want to celebrate it alone. Hell, I don't even celebrate my own birthday! I've never had a party or even attended one. The first party I've been to is that chaotic house party.
I went to my bathroom to do my night routine, I haven't had dinner yet and I don't want to eat with them. I'll just go to bed early. After taking a hot bath and finishing my night routine, I wore silk pajamas and plopped on my bed.
"Hitori ni shite kudasai..." (Leave me alone please...) I muttered to myself and covered my body with the comforter. I closed my eyes and tried to make myself fall asleep. But I can't. I released a sigh and turned to a different direction. "Fuck." I whispered. I can't sleep!
I heard a knock on my door, I hope it's not Uriel. He's literally annoying and he haven't apologized for his shitty behavior last time. Someone knocked on my door again and I heard it opened.
"Sayuri?" Said mom's voice, "Dinner's ready."
"Shitakunai." (I don't want.) I said and heard my door creaked, I felt my mom's weight on my bed and she touch the top of my head.
"Are you alright, my Aurelia?" She asked. Good thing she can't see my face, I rolled my eyes when she called me that.
"I'm okay, I just want to sleep." I said without looking at her. I refuse to look at her after knowing that she's involved with the party tomorrow.
"Tomorrow you're going to be a young lady..." Mom caresses my hair, "And your friends are coming too. Yokatta ne." (I'm glad for you.) She giggled, "Kapag nagutom ka, may pagkain sa baba." She kissed the top of my head and left.
I frowned when she closed the door. Yeah right, be glad I'm not around this house anymore when I'm with them outside. You should try to talk to your son about invading my life too. I took out my headphones and plugged in to my phone to listen to some music. I didn't realize that I fell asleep while listening and woke up around 1AM.
I got a bit hungry so I went downstairs to look for some snack. I saw Yaya coming out of her room while rubbing her eyes.
"Sayuri!" She called in a faint whisper, trying not to wake up the other maids. "Gutom ka ba?" I slightly nod as an answer and went to the kitchen to see what I can eat. I opened the fridge and saw a lot of food that can be heated, but I don't have the appetite to eat them.
I took out the yogurt and berries from the fridge. I grabbed the nuts, seeds and honey too from the pantry. I put all the ingredients together in a glass and took a bite of it using a dessert spoon.
