"Kin!" Napalingon ako nang tawagin ako ni Klye. Kakatapos lang ng 7AM class ko at pupunta na sana kami sa lab ng block section ko nang tawagin niya 'ko.
"Anong problema?" I asked when she was in front of me. I saw her face, she looks like she's in trouble, "Sinaktan ka ba nung kuya ni Sayuri?" Nag-aalala kong tanong sakanya.
She raised her brow at me habang naghahabol ng hininga, "Gago! Hindi siya! Si Sayuri mismo!"
"What happened?" I asked at medyo gumilid kami sa hallway.
"Susana is doing it again," Sabi ni Klye, "Narinig ko sila sa CR kanina, she and her friends talked to someone and they told things, it's like she's really doing it on purpose na ipagkalat sa mga students yung rumors na 'yon."
"What rumor?"
"That she cheated daw," Klye answered, "I know that's not true kasi friend ko yung isang classmate ni Sayuri sa subject na 'yon." She explained, I gave her a confused look. Hindi ko ma-gets yung sinasabi ni Klye, ang gulo niya mag-explain.
"Claire, calm the down." Sabi ko nang tawagin ko siya sa pangalan niya at ginawa naman niya. I let her breathe muna para maayos siyang makapag-explain, when she's already calm tinanong ko kung ano yung totoong nangyari.
"Susana and her friends, they ordered someone to tell our dean na nag-cheat si Sayuri sa subject ni Prof Cañales. Sayuri didn't cheat—she can't cheat! And they're now spreading rumors about her." Klye looked at me, she was starting to hyperventilate again.
"Calm down, please." I told her and held her shoulders, "Where's Ash?"
"Ash is with Lance and Yuan, ngayon pa lang sila papasok." She said, "Things will be alright 'di ba? I mean, Susana won't ruin Sayuri...'di ba?"
I looked at the ground and tried to find the right words to say. Hindi ko alam, kasi dati na rin siniraan ni Susana si Klye, and that really affected her. It's not just Klye's image that is ruined, something important to her too.
"Klye, I have to go na may lab pa kami." I said, I really wanted to stay and comfort her pero may ginagawa kasi kami ngayon. Malapit na rin kasi ang midterms, medyo busy na. "Message me if something happens."
She nodded and pursed her lips, alam kong ayaw niya 'kong umalis. I gave her a quick hug and made my way to the laboratory. It's a good thing hindi pa nagsisimula yung discussion. After a few minutes, we started doing our activity and habang busy ang lahat sa kanya kanyang task, yung group sa tabi ko was talking about something.
