Here's chapter 1 owo! This was so fun to write, and this story is gon be awesome! Hope you enjoy!

All admins have a special ability. For some, it's elemental powers. For others, it could be a weapon you can summon at will. Xisuma's father's was wings. But, for some, it's just a gift for coding. These powers would appear without any warning, leaving most confused. As for coding, they usually have that gift since birth, so they never have any random new abilities to confuse of disorient them.

That's what Xisuma thought his ability was. He was a proficient coder, and had never had any confusing mishaps during his many years on Hermitcraft. He thought something like this would never happen to him.

Boy was he wrong.

Xisuma Flynn Void had a pretty normal childhood. His father was an admin on a prominent server. Xisuma had one twin brother named Alex, and his mother died during childbirth, so he never knew her. X was sad that he never got to meet her, but was content with his family. He lived a pretty comfortable life in a small cottage, close to the centre of his Father's server. He loved his brother and his father very much. The townspeople liked Xisuma, and knew him very well.

His father had a magnificent pair of dark green bat wings. Xisuma loved it when his dad took him flying. He loved to feel the wind in his hair and his fingertips. He would trace the wind currents as his dad flew him across the sky, touching the clouds as he coasted around the server. He loved boat rides with his brother, the cool ocean breeze flipping his hair all over. Xisuma loved the wind.

When Xisuma eventually moved to Hermitcraft, he had to wear a helmet and gloves, to help him breathe and cover his scars. He hated it. He couldn't feel the wind anymore. He felt trapped. He often tore off the two when inside his house, even if it was just to feel a soft breeze from an open window.

When elytras were released, Xisuma was overjoyed. He could fly again, just like he did with his father all those years ago. He would fly for hours straight, doing all sorts of stunts. He always flew far enough where no hermit could stumble upon him.

"Hey, Shashwamy!" Keralis flew up and greeted the admin in the cowmercial district. "How are doing this fine day?"

"Pretty good! The wind is great for flying today. I think I'm gonna take a bit of a glide around the server."

"Really? It's pretty strong gusts..."

"Just how I like it!" Xisuma gave a toothy grin as he flew off to enjoy the day. He waved goodbye as the smaller hermit chuckled. Keralis was right, the wind was very strong that day, but Xisuma wanted to reminisce. He missed his father. He hadn't seen him since he came to hermitcraft. Ever since- he stopped himself. Don't think about that. Just think about the happy memories. He shook his head, as if that would clear his head. X stared straight forward, reorienting his thoughts. He wanted to feel the strong winds again.

He flew thousands of blocks out, where no hermit could disturb him. He turned off his communicator and set off. He looped and twirled, dove and glided. Xisuma flew through clouds, feeling the cool condensation on his hands. X had taken off his gloves, and was glad that he had. The cool brush of the wind on his fingertips sent a tingle through his whole body, awakening his senses, and hyping him up for the coming stunt. Xisuma took all the rockets he could, and flew straight up, past the build limit. When he reached his peak, he relaxed his entire form, and let himself fall. Tumbling vertically towards the ground, Xisuma made no attempt to stop himself. The clouds rushed past X as the dirt came closer and closer to him. At the last possible moment, he opened his elytra and soared up. The adrenaline rush brought back so many memories. His dad pulling the exact same stunt, scaring little Xisuma, but always reassuring him after.

He flew out further, letting the wind currents carry him wherever, not paying attention to the direction he was travelling in. He ended up above an ocean. He swooped down, running his hand across the lapis blue water. He dove in, letting his momentum propel him. The cold liquid surrounded him, enveloping him in a crystal world. The sun reflected through the water, lighting up the ocean floor like a rainbow. Xisuma's breath was taken away by the beauty of it, and also the fact that there is no air underwater. He launched himself out, shaking off in the air as he did so. My hair is gonna take a while to dry. Xisuma thought. One hand pushing the sopping wet mat out of his eyes, he shook the water off his rockets with the other and flew off.

Flying further towards the middle of the ocean, a storm kicked up. The waves capped off white as the water churned. Xisuma was distracted by the majesty of the roaring ocean, so he didn't notice the small hurricane in behind him. The winds snatched Xisuma out of his trance-like state, throwing him around. He could feel himself being pulled apart in the whipping winds. The strong water filled gusts ripped at his flesh, tearing it from him. His chest felt tight as the eater filled his lungs. Fear and pain flashed through his body as he died.

Xisuma woke with a gasp in his storage tower. Pain rolled through is body, causing him to double over and curl up. He squeezed his eyes shut, the pain blinding him. After a minute, the pain subsided, leaving Xisuma shaking and breathing heavily. He slowly calmed down his hyperventilation, and assessed his losses. An elytra, some rockets and food. Not too bad. X thought. He was glad that he didn't wear his armour, although it might have helped protect from the hurricane. Getting out of the soft, yellow bed, Xisuma had to steady himself. He closed his eyes to push away the light-headedness that had suddenly washed over him. He took out his communicator, replying to the onslaught of messages after the death notification. X assured the hermits that he was fine, and went to suit up again. He was just glad he didn't die from a permadeath causing situation.

Putting on his strider armour, he regretted not taking Keralis' suggestions to stay home. His whole body ached. What he didn't regret, was remembering flying with his dad, even though there were some painful memories attached to it. He shuddered as he remembered those awful moments. He tried his best to push them out of his mind, by putting on some Metallica. X stopped while he was putting his chest plate on, instead taking off the armour he had out on and changing into his pyjamas. He flopped down on his bed again, deciding to take the day off to relax. He closed his eyes as the aggressive guitars and the strong drums flooded into his ears. He was surprisingly calm, and he wanted to stay that way forever.

He wasn't going to.
