𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐃𝐎 𝐖𝐄 𝐆𝐎 𝐍𝐎𝐖? [𝐟𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐬]

THE LIBRARY WASN'T to crowded, there was just a few people here. Quincey and Five sit in the corner at the top level of the library.

The air around Quincey felt cold, even though they were inside and the tiled floor beneath her was just as cold. The girl watches Five write equations on the wall and take sips of the bottle of alcohol they bought with them.

Time travels quickly for the girl, or maybe that's just because her and five have almost drunken the whole bottle. The two sit on the ground, Five's arm draped around her body and books scattered across the floor. For once in a long time she feels calm, like there's nothing to worry about and all life's stress has magically disappeared.

Her drunken giggles sound through the air and Five's heart skips a beat at the sound. "Your laugh sounds beautiful" The boy speaks into Quincey's hair "you think so?" She smiles into his chest.

The two "teens" slowly drift off to sleep, legs tangled together and wrapped in each other's arms.

"It's not secure. Those psychopaths could come back at any moment" The sound of Luther's booming voice brings Quince out of her sleepy state. "Psychopaths?" She says in barely a whisper.

"My place is closer. No one will look for them there" Diego voice sounds through the alleyway. "Diego? Where am I?" Quincey asks the man carrying her "we found you two past out at the library, we're taking you back to my place now" Diego informed the girl in his arms.

"Oh yeah" was all the girl responded with.

"If you vomit on me..." Luther says to Five after had burped. "You know what's funny? Aah! I'm going through puberty. Huh. Twice" Five scoffs "Hey! Me too! High five!" Quincey says and reaches her hand out to five. "Wait. Haha get it high five, because five is drunk" The girl laughed at her own joke.

"And we...we drank that whole bottle, didn't we? That's what you do when the world you love goes bye-bye." Five said in his drunken state. "Poof! It's gone." Quincey added, waving her arms around "What are you guys talking about?"

"Two masked intruders attacked the academy last night" Luther sighed "they came looking for you. So I need you to focus. What do they want?" Diego aimed his anger mostly at Five. "Hazel and Cha-Cha" Five slurred.

"Who?"
"You know I hate code names"

"Ah, the best of the best. Except for me and Quince, of course" five lightly chuckled "the best of what?" Luther asked, anger clear in his voice.

"You know, Delores always said she hated when we drink. She said it made us surely" the boy said to Quincey "ah, I miss Delores-" Quincey sighed.

"Hey!" Diego snapped
"hm? Yeah?"
"I need you to focus. What do this Hazel and cha-cha want?" Asked five and the girl he was carrying.

They didn't answer, just looked at him and smiled.

"We just wanna protect you two" he said softer than he was speaking before hand. "Protect me. I don't need your protection, Diego. And Quincey can take care of herself, she can kill someone at the click of a finger. Just make their little heart stop ticking. Do you have any idea how many people we've killed?

We're the four fricken horseman. The apocalypses coming" After he finished talking, Five turned over his shoulder and vomited. "Ugh, I hate vomit" Quincey said, turning away disgust.

Luther and Diego place the two of them on the bed. Five sleeping peacefully and Quincey almost sober and staring at the ceiling, she slowly sits up and leans against the wall facing the other two people awake.

Diego walks over to where Luther is looking at Five "Funny. If I didn't know he was such a prick, I'd say he looks almost adorable in his sleep" Diego told them "well don't worry. He'll sober up eventually. Be back to his normal, unpleasant self" Luther responded.

"He's not that much of a prick. I mean, he can be, depending on who he's talking to" Quincey says softly, staring intently at the sleeping boy. "Hey Quincey, I've been meaning to ask. Are you two, y'know, a thing" Diego asked the girl.

Quincey chuckled softly "nah, we've always been best friends, never anything more" Diego nodded "who are those lunatics? What's the connection?" Diego questioned, sitting on a chair beside the bed.

"We told you already, their names are Hazel and Cha-Cha. I don't know when Five is planning to tell you everything else, so I won't say anything else, about the matter" Quincey talks in a soft voice "I can't wait until Five wakes up, I need to stop these lunatics, before someone else dies"  Diego says but is slightly cut off by a thumping noise overhead.

Diego holds up his finger for them to stay quiet and walks up to the door, knife in hand. He swings the door open, ready to throw the knife when a voice explodes into the room "if you throw another one of those goddamn knives at me, I'm pressin' charges"

Diego opens the door fully "what do you want Al?" an older man walks in. He wears a white shirt and an open red button up, his head covered in a navy blue beanie. "I ain't your secretary. Some lady called for you, said she needs your help."

"What lady?" Diego said carelessly "I dunno. Some, uh, detective. I think she said her name was, uh, Blotch or somethin'" Al explained "Patch?" Diego and Quincey said at the same time and Al shrugged "she needs my help. Wait, how do you know her?" He asked the girl sitting crossed legged in the bed.

"I'll tell you later, go help her"

"She needs you to meet her at that motel, a dump on Calhoun" Al told him "when?"
"About half an hour ago, said she found your brother" after he said that, Al walked out. "Well, that doesn't make sense"

"Klaus"

"Go. I'll wait here with..." Diego slammed the door "...them"

AUTHORS NOTE
So, I haven't updated in a bit. But I'm about to write another chapter. Also the scene where Diego finds Patch always gets me in the feels, especially with the song that's playing. Anyways have a great day/night :))
