||Percy Jackson||

How? How could this happen after all we've been through? How could the fates be so cruel?

I laid on my bed and rolled to the side, staring at the wall. I pulled the covers over me, and covered my whole face with my pillow. I was done. Did the engagement ring mean nothing? How were the guys still flirting with Annabeth and how were the girls still flirting with me? I heard knocking.

"Percy?" a hesitant voice said from the doorway.

Jason. I wasn't letting him in.

"Percy?" another hesitant voice.

Thalia. I wasn't letting her in, either.

"Percy?"

Piper. Nope.

"Percy?"

Hazel. Nope.

"Percy?"

Frank. Nope.

"Percy?"

Rachel. Nope.

"PRISSY!"

Clarisse... I'll pass.

"JACKSON!"

Reyna... she's scary... but I'll pass.

"P-Percy?" a small voice whimpered.

Annabeth. No... don't open the door... I needed some time on my own. I rolled over in bed and blocked out all sounds before falling asleep.

||Jason Grace||

Damn... if Percy doesn't open the door for Annabeth... no one's gonna get him out of there.

"GUYS!"

Piper took the lead.

"If Annabeth can't get him out, no one will, okay? Let's just leave him alone."

"Nah... we've got a better plan," the Stolls smirked.

"PERCY! THERE'S A MONSTER ATTACK!" Travis yelled.

No answer.

"They must know it's us... Katie, you do it."

"I'm not carrying out your dirty work," Katie rolled her eyes.

"Jason, you say it," Connor said.

"Fine. PERCY! THERE'S A MONSTER ATTACK!" I yelled.

"Go away," a muffled voice said.

"I have a trick," Piper said.

"Percy, there are blue cookies downstairs!"

A loud thump.

"WHERE ARE THE COOKIES?!" a loud yell sounded from the room as Percy swung it open.

When he saw us, his face turned into pure annoyance. He slammed the door shut and locked it up again.

"STOP IT," he said before a soft thump signaled that he was on the bed again.

"Let's just... leave him alone," I decided before walking down the stairs.

We all walked away from his door and we sat outside to watch a movie under the stars.

||Ron Weasley||

When Hermione got back from their 'Girl's Night Out', she looked tired. She got into the bedroom and immediately shut the door. She didn't even say hello. I walked away and sat at the kitchen table to eat a healthy smoothie. I was eating when Ginny came out. She grabbed her own smoothie, gave me a harsh glare, and walked away to her room. Mum came down and poured her smoothie. When she saw my face, she sat down next to me.

"What's wrong, lad?" she asked.

"Nothing, Mum. Just thinking," I said as optimistically as I could.

Mum ruffled my hair.

"That's my little boy," she smiled.

I tried to not roll my eyes and walked over to my room, shutting the door. Hermione and I didn't speak for four days after that.

||Annabeth Chase||

It'd been four days. Percy still hadn't come out of his room.

"Percy? We're watching a movie downstairs. Finding Nemo!" Piper knocked on the door.

No response.

"PERSEUS JACKSON, YOU BETTER GET DOWN HERE SOON OR WE'LL FLAY YOU!" Clarisse took out Maimer.

"Clarisse, even if you beat him up, that'll just not get him to come out," Chris laid a hand on his girlfriend's shoulder.

"It would be fun," Clarisse whined.

"Shut up," Chris kissed Clarisse.

Piper gave up and we all flopped down on the couch.

||Percy Jackson||

I could hear them. No, I wasn't coming out. I didn't want to. I could almost hear Annabeth at night sometimes, mumbling that it's all her fault. It's not. It never was. It was the fates and their crazy expectations. It was Aphrodite, who decided to make our love life so difficult. I needed a break from everyone. I had spent most of my days sleeping and binge watching movies. Honestly, I was pretty comfortable eating all the order-in food I got when the rest of them went to the beach.

I closed my eyes again, trying to fall asleep.

||Annabeth Chase||

I stared at his door and Piper nudged me again. That's when Jason noticed that we weren't paying attention to the movie. Percy came out, but he didn't even look at us. Not me.

"PERCY STOP MAKING EVERYONE PITY YOU!" Jason snapped.

Percy's head turned sharply and the look in his eyes wasn't... his. They were dark green like the unforgiving seas and currents of Poseidon's fury. They weren't the playful sea-green I was used to. Percy's eyes moved like the sea, but this time, his eyes reflected the thrashing currents, demolishing any source of happiness into the dark green swallows. His voice didn't even seem like his own.

"Shut it, Grace," he hissed.

"Percy," Jason tried again.

Percy scowled. A look that didn't fit his peaceful ad handsome face that was cuter than anything I've ever seen before.

"Leave it be," Percy said in a raspy voice that almost made me think he was an eidolon.

"Piper, is he an eidolon?" I asked shakily.

"Uh... eidolons don't possess so much power. Also, his eyes aren't golden," Piper said uncertainly.

Percy was glowing. He was glowing black. His eyes were like lasers and he looked like he had fire in his hands. Blue fire. His dragon appeared in a small form on his head and suddenly, Percy's black aura disappeared, his hands turned back to normal. It all happened in the blink of an eye and I was pretty sure I hallucinated.

"I'm not asking for pity. I'm boycotting until Aphrodite stops messing with Percabeth's love life," Percy glared at the sky and gave a bitter laugh, "but what's the use? Aphrodite and the fates clearly have given me a sign that my life will never be good. No luck for me."

He pushed the door open. We all stared in shock as he left the suite. I looked at Piper. The last time I had seen him lose hope was when we fell into the River Acheron. I shook it out of my head. I wasn't going there.
