I sat on my little throne, polishing my trident. Mother sat on her throne, doing her nails. Amphitrite's crown glistened on her head. I stared at Father, who was pacing back and forth through the throne room.

"He's gonna be okay... Percy's strong... he'll be able to do anything..." he was muttering.

He's out of his mind for his little boy, I thought with envy.

Amphitrite obviously didn't like it either, because she flashed out one of her hands and spun her husband around.

"Poseidon, why do you need to fawn over a demigod son of yours before you start fawning over our godly son?"

Poseidon looked at me.

"Ah... yes... Triton's very... um... skilled?"

I rolled my eyes and continued to sharpen my trident. That's when the throne room doors burst open and Percy walked in, holding hands with... Annabeth? Yes, that's what Percy called her the last time he visited.

"Hey, Dad!" he said, smiling.

"Hey, son. What brings you here to Atlantis?" Poseidon asked.

"Eh... we wanted to ask you for something," Percy looked down at the floor, his face flushing red.

Annabeth was also looking down, her face pink. Poseidon stared questioningly before his eyes landed on something glittering on Annabeth's left hand.

"You're engaged?!" he exclaimed, leaping back six feet.

"Uh... yeah," Percy rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly, "I proposed in December."

Annabeth nodded and continued.

"So... Lord Poseidon... I was wondering if... um... we could... you know... have your blessing?" she kinda squeaked it out.

"Percy... if she makes you happy, I won't say no. I'll say yes, you have my blessing. Only if she makes you happy. Annabeth. If you break my boy's heart... you will be spending the last day of your life in my dungeon. I will order Aphrodite to torture you myself," Poseidon looked at the daughter of Athena.

Annabeth nodded furiously before Percy smiled.

"Okay, thanks Dad! Also... um... we're gonna see Athena," he turned pale at her name.

"Well, if she kills my son she'll start the next World War," Poseidon grumbled.

They left and I looked to Poseidon.

"If a girl broke my heart would you destroy her?"

"Uh... sure?"

I facepalmed.

We popped up to the surface and Percy laughed as the dolphins brought us back up at New York. We got out and Percy mist traveled to the Empire State Building. He rushed in and greeted the man.

"What're you up to this time, Jackson?"

"Just saying hi to a certain someone," he glanced nervously at me and I held up my left hand.

"Oh! Congratulations!"

We got into the elevator and Percy blocked my ears.

"Don't listen to the music," he winced for the whole fifteen minutes.

When we got out, he collapsed onto the floor, kissing it.

"Oh! Yes! We're out! Thank you!" he gasped.
