Flashback continues
They were now in 12th class.
Everything was going well in between them, both were happy with each other. Neil discovered that avni is very sensitive, a soft hearted girl and gets afraid of small things easily. His friends also knew this.
Whenever avni had been struck or something had bothered her she used to tell Neil everything and poured her heart out in front of him and as usual Neil used to console her with his soothing words.
One day his friends were talking about neil and avni. When Neil came to them suddenly they got silent and started talking about other stuffs. But Neil had heard everything.
Neil: kya baat kar rahe the tumlog?
Karan ( his friend ): nahi kuch nahi bas ese hi
Neil: no tum log meri aur avni ki baat kar rahe the bol na yaar
Karan: bura mat maan na yaar but avni is not the right for you I mean she is very different from others jab dekho bas cry baby ki Tarah roti rehti hai aur tu usse console karta rehta hai. These is not a relationship bro. She is your girlfriend not your daughter.
Everyone started laughing hearing him. Neil looked down not able to say anything.
Karan: and top of that mujhe uss ladki mai koi gadbad lagti hai vo waisi nahi hai jesi vo dikhti hai. Kal jab tu absent tha toh vo kisi aur ladke ka haath pakad ke baatein kar rahi thi aur vo bhi mera bhai. But mere bhai ne usse bilkul baat nahi ki uska ajeeb behaviour dekh kar. Dekh Neil tu hamara friend hai teri bhalayi ke liye hee ham keh rahe hai tu avni par nazar rakh am sure uska kisi aur ke saath bhi affair hoga.
Neil: Karan bas avni esi nahi hai aur
Karan: Neil you don't know these type of girls ye hoti kuch aur hai aur dikhati kuch aur hai. You seem to be happy with avni and I guess you are quite serious about her so thought to warn you before it went overboard.
Neil was in shock hearing all these. His mind was playing games with him. He started doubting his love his avni. Avni used to tell him that she is not like these but Neil never listened to her.
One day it was a lunch break. Avni and neil were sitting on a last bench. Neil was sitting quietly rubbing his forehead. Avni was looking at him sniffing silently looking at him.
Neil: avni for god sake rona bandh karo
He said being irritated. Avni wiped her tears hurriedly.
Avni: Neil I swear maine esa kuch nahi kiya. Tumhe mujhpe trust nahi hai?
Neil: toh ye sab, pura class jhuth bol raha hai mujhse huh? Har din, har din koi na koi mujhe kehta hai ke mere absence mai tum baaki ladko se baat karti ho. Kal bhi jab mai absent tha tum yash se baat kar rahi thi right?
Avni: Neil
Neil: haa ya naa?
Avni: haa par usse notes chahiye the vo itne din absent tha aur
Neil: I don't care. Tumhe kyun sab ki fikar hai
Avni: neil he is our classmate hame uski help karni chahiye
Neil: are you cheating on me? Huh bolo avni
Avni went numb hearing him he was just saying anything without caring about her. Her love is doubting on her. This is the last thing she want.
Avni: Neil ye tum kya bole jaa rahe ho?
Neil: sahi bol raha hu mai. Mai hi bewakuf tha jo tumse pyaar kiya. Apna Instagram id aur password batao.
