Chapter Nine

I felt cold water on my body,I began to cough and I couldn't breathe.My dress was so wet I felt embarrassed, I was lucky to have fainted in a pharmacy and not the roadside, I was given a first aid, I was placed in a doctor's room I guess which was a small portion of the pharmacy.He checked me and asked me several questions I actually told him I am fine and needed to get back home as soon as possible,so he let me go,when I came out I saw that the gentleman I saw was sitted waiting for me, I wish I could take another route but it was too late he had spotted me already, I was so frightened cause it's the second time seeing someone I saw in my dream come in reality. I pinched myself to know if I wasn't dreaming again.He drew closer to me and asked if I was ok,I replied that I am perfectly fine and if he could excuse me,but he still stood firm infront of me,he stretched his hands and said "I am Daniel,what about you??"Mariana ".i replied."Nice name for a beautiful flower ".He said."can we meet again "he said,bringing his phone out to take my digits."Sorry,I don't have a cell"I said impatiently".Can you please excuse me my mom is waiting at home "I said and run out of the pharmacy.He came running after me,then I saw a black Mercedes Benz parked just infront of the pharmacy,"how about driving you home"he asked when he caught up with me cause I was standing there in awe wondering if a young boy owns this car,he actually opened the car and started the engine,I was still standing and staring."why don't you get in the car so I drive you home, I want to ensure that you are safe".he said."no thanks,I'm ok".i repliedand started walking quickly towards home,looks like this guy won't give up he kept following me this time with the car, I felt a little embarrassed and I had no choice but to hop in the car.Inside the car we had a brief chat as we reached
my home within some few minutes, I didn't want Aunt to see me with him but he still insisted to enter the house and greet my aunt,we both entered,my aunt was sitting outside waiting for me and I am sure she was wondering why I kept long.As soon as she lift up her head she was shocked,she screamed,cried,laughed "wow,fate and destiny is something you can't ever avoid".she said. I stood there more confused than anything, I was only staring at aunt sheepishly,Daniel only stood there not saying anything. I felt like crying what was actually happening for Christ sake,I was so much confused.
