ABUJA.
A group of shady looking men stood in a dimly lit warehouse waiting for someone. A particular man among them was oddly impatient. "When is the boss going to be here?" He asked.
"Guy relax. Don't act so eager or they will know you are new" another man scolded him and quickly assumed a cold stance as the heavy warehouse doors creaked open.
A man wearing a black coat walked in with two escort and the shock on the new recruit was visible.
"Ifeanyi Otanwa?" he whispered and clenched his fist by the side. "Brandon was right."
"Sir!" the men saluted and one of them brought out a large suitcase from a corner. He set it on a large wooden table and opened it. An array of guns graced their sight.
"Beautiful" Ifeanyi said pleased as he picked one up and checked it. "the people at Gombe will like this. They can use it for their operations," he said and turned to his men. "they are going to be here soon right?"
"Yes sir" They answered while the new recruit quietly observed them.
We just have to wait a few more moments, then we will have them all. He thought anxious for this to be over.
Feeling watched, Ifeanyi looked up and narrowed his eyes at the new recruit. He quickly stood straight and Ifeanyi approached him suspiciously.
"Who is he?"
"Boss, this is Michael. He is a new recruit."
Ifeanyi eyed Michael distrustfully but let it go and walked away.
Suddenly, a man ran in looking frantic. His eyes rested on Michael in panic then to Mr. Ifeanyi and Michael knew something was wrong. He began to take stealthy steps back.
"Mr Ifeanyi sir!"A man yelled running in. He squatted and panted heavily.
"What is it?! Are the buyers here?!" Ifeanyi snapped..
"No! Michael is a traitor! His real name is Andrew and he works for the police!" The man yelled and they all turned to Andrew shocked but Andrew threw a cloud of dust in their eyes.
"Argh!"
Andrew began to run and the sound of police sirens filled the area. "Shit" Ifeanyi cursed and sought to make his way out. He grabbed a gun as the police rushed in.
"This is the police. Surrender now!"
"Never!" Ifeanyi roared and a shoot out began.
Andrew escaped from the warehouse and began panting. A brown skinned man appeared before him and Andrew grinned nervously. "We were so close to getting them all."
"It's okay" Brandon smiled. "you did well escaping fast." They looked at the warehouse at the sound of gunshots and saw Mr. Ifeanyi running out with two of his men.
"Let's catch him! Hey!" Brandon yelled to a police car behind him and he and Andrew ran to it. They jumped in and the driver drove, following Ifeanyi's car.
