That evening at the Esoro mansion, Stella returned home and was surprised to see Nora in her room. Nora looked pale and her eyes were red.

“Nora? What happened?” Stella peppered her with questions concerned. “what happened to your eyes? Did your mom say something?”

“Sister Stella,” Nora spoke in a low voice as she sat up. “can I sleep here with you today? I already asked mom and she agreed.”

“Um, okay.” Stella nodded but she was still worried. “but what happened? I think you cried, who made you cry?”

“Nothing.” Nora answered quietly and laid back on the bed prepared to sleep.

Stella was puzzled but she quickly recovered. “Get up. If this is a sleepover, then you should enjoy it to the fullest.”

“Hm?”

“Let’s go to the kitchen, I have all kinds of snacks there. You can eat all you want.” Stella smiled knowingly.

Nora appeared to think about it for a moment before nodding. Stella smiled and helped her up. They both went to the kitchen.

“What movie should we watch?” Stella asked.

Nora shrugged in disinterest. “I don’t know, anything?”

“Hmm, maybe we will let the TV decide. I watched some good movies over at Brandon’s place. I think he is a film enthusiast–” Stella paused thinking over her words.

She stared at the bowl in front of her while Nora was staring off at space.

The two women were occupied with the thoughts of the men in their hearts and the mood suddenly felt odd.

Soon, Stella and Nora made themselves comfortable in the living room couch and watched whatever movie was on. It was an action flick.

They were invested in the movie when a noise suddenly distracted them. Stella and Nora turned to see Roxy approaching and Nora gripped her clothes tightly.

“Roxy, how are you?” Stella beamed. “how was work?”

Roxy glanced at Nora and her mood took a dip. “Good evening sister, work was fine.”

Stella noticed Roxy’s eyes on Nora and smiled. “Nora is sleeping over so we are having a slumber party. Do you want to join us?”

Nora sweated bullets while Roxy stared at her like a pest. She shook her head, “no thanks, I am quite tired. Enjoy your party.”

“Okay,” Stella shrugged.

“G-Good evening.” Nora stuttered a greeting but Roxy blatantly ignored her. Stella looked between the two girls finding it odd but didn’t comment.

“let’s continue the movie,” She smiled and pressed play.

Soon the movie ended and since Stella and Nora weren’t tired, they decided to watch the next one. Unfortunately, it was a romcom.

As the film went on, Nora felt her eyes fill with tears reminded of Andrew while Stella kept thinking about Brandon.

‘Why do I keep thinking about him?’ Stella thought worried.

A loud crash resounded in the living room and the women turned alarmed in the direction of the door. They got up upon seeing Sky and Megan’s bodyguard, Eze walked in with a drunk Megan.
