The next day at the Esoro mansion, Stella woke up to find Nora in her room and remembered they had been talking last night about Nora's transfer to a university in Abuja.

Stella went to freshen up and when she returned, she found that Nora had woken up.

"Good morning" Nora greeted groggily. She yawned and rubbed her eyes, then fell back to the bed to continue her slumber.

"Get up, time has already gone and you want to keep on sleeping?" Stella mildly scolded. "do you want your mom to wake you up specially?"

Nora groaned. "Did you have to remind me?"

"And we have to check the perfect universities for you. We promised your mom." Stella reminded again and Nora got up with a groan.

"You never let me relax, just give me a feel more minutes." she mumbled making Stella shake her head in disappointment.

Stella left the room and met Marlene on the way. "Oh, Good morning." She greeted.

"Stella good morning, I was just coming to get you. Thank God you are awake," Marlene said eagerly making Stella narrow her eyes.

"What is it?"

"Tayo is here again and I need you. I need you to see him."

"What? No! Why should I?!" Stella vehemently refused. "I don't want to meet a fiancé I don't remember, we have no reason to meet."

"Stella shh," Marlene hushed, looking sideways cautiously. "I know you don't want to meet him but you have to. He was your fiancé and now that you are back after two years, it's important you do. It's basic courtesy at least."

Stella crossed her arms unwilling but eventually gave in. She met Tayo at the patio and he smiled at her innocently.

Stella only narrowed her eyes in response as she sat opposite him. She recalled Marlene's warning. "under no circumstances must he find out you lost your memory."

"What do you want to talk about?"

"I just wanted to see you properly, it's been a long time since we last saw. I'm grateful you are alive." Tayo said softly and Stella nodded.

"Thank you."

"Also, I was thinking about our relationship Stella. There are a lot of things we can benefit from each other as heirs to our respective fortunes."

Stella snarled. "Are you crazy? Is that why you called to see me? You want us to continue our courtship?"

"Yes, it's the only reasonable thing to do." Tayo stated.

"That is never going to happen. Why should commit myself to a relationship that has ended?" Stella demanded. "plus, I have a bpyfriend."

"A boyfriend?!" Tayo was visibly surprised and a shadow loomed over his features before he brightened up. "a fling means nothing Stella."
