Be good enough to forgive someone but don't be stupid enough to trust them again.

Nora laid on her bed in her room thinking about Andrew's confession. Just the idea made her giddy.

"He...really likes me," she said out loud in disbelief and squealed in excitement. She sat up abruptly schooling her features.

"What would it be like to date?" She wondered in incredible anticipation. She pressed her lips together as she imagined it and her heart swelled with happiness.

"Let's do it, let's date." She came to a decision.

At the Police station, Diyemi, Brandon and Andrew returned to the detective unit spent. They stared at their various work posts in silence.

"It's a relief we managed to convince boss to put us back on the case," Diyemi spoke first.

Brandon sighed and leaned on his chair. "things are getting worse by the day in this case. We should have gone the undercover detective route."

"It's not like that hasn't been done. There was no progress on that," Andrew reminded. "the detective back then nearly lost his life."

Brandon twitched his lips indifferent and Andrew sighed turning his attention to a text on his phone. He blinked.

Nora - Let's date.

Andrew tried to hide the growing smile on his lips as he read the text over and over again. He clenched and unclenched his fists to control himself.

"What's with that look on your face?" Diyemi asked causing him to look up and school his features.

"Nothing, Nothing," he replied, shoving his phone in his pocket after a quick reply. Diyemi didn't look like he believed him one bit.

In Nora's room, Nora stared at his response excited.

Andrew - Today is our first day.

In Deji's office at the hospital, Tayo raised an eyebrow unimpressed. "Do I need to repeat myself? How much do you want in exchange for you to leave Stella and go very far away?"

"What? You want to pay me to leave Stella?! Are you serious?" Deji's countenance darkened. He gripped the chair in front of him. "Are you sure you are serious or is it that you are running mad?"

Tayo frowned annoyed but swiftly recovered. "Don't play goody two shoes with me. Name your price, I don't like to waste time."

"I would never leave Stella for money so you wasted your time coming here. Get out of my sight before I punch your face in." Deji snarled, clenching his fists. His voice sounded so different from his usual shy and quiet tone.

"Are you sure?" Tayo ignored his rage. "Listen, you will get nothing out of dating Stella. You can attempt to marry her but that won't work. Someone of your caliber won't be accepted into that family, you may be a talented doctor but it will do nothing for you."

"Take my offer before it's too late," Tayo persuaded again. "I mean how much do you earn working for the government, 15,000? 20,000? Those are chicken chang-"

"Get the fuck out of here Tayo and I swear, if I see you near Stella, you will see a side of me no one has ever seen before," Deji growled, glaring darkly at Tayo.

Tayo shrugged indifferently. "okay, but you just lost your chance. Now I will play this game just as you want."

The last of Tayo's words were an indirect warning but Deji couldn't care less. He left and Deji pushed his chair away in anger.
"That bastard."
