At the hospital, Stella laid on the bed focusing on her memories. Yes, she was drugged and maybe out of it but she was so sure it was Sky.

Stella felt crazy. Sky was dead so why was she insisting? What was this uncertainty in her heart?

She heaved a sigh and looked up curiously at the sound of the door clicking. Her eyes automatically rolled at the sight of Tayo.

"Is that my welcome? I feel hurt," Tayo feigned sadness, putting a hand over his heart.

"Just say what you want and leave, I don't have strength for this," Stella said dismissively.

"How generous of you," Tayo smiled. He dropped the bouquet on the drawer near the wall. "I got flowers for you."

"I dislike flowers."

Tayo chuckled. "But isn't it a nice gesture?" he looked at her but got no response. He sat next to her, "how are you doing?"

Stella looked at him blankly and replied. "I'm fine." She closed her eyes and Tayo watched her with a loose smile on his lips.

"Why are you even here?"

"I'm not coldhearted Stella, stop seeing me as your enemy. I just want to be of use to you," Tayo said persuasively.

Stella opened her eyes sharply and stared hard at him. "You are of no use to me. Can't you give up? Our companies are on par with each other so I don't see why you need to suck up to me."

"Suck up to you?" Tayo looked amused. "You are someone worth all this trouble. You would benefit from our union."

"No, our companies would benefit," Stella corrected annoyed. "This is what you and my mom planned right?"

Tayo's hands twitched but the smile remained on his face. "Your intelligence hasn't dimmed in anyway Stella, but you fail to realise this," Tayo took her hand gently, "I want you."

Stella stared at Tayo disgusted at his insistence. She glared at him while he smiled at her.

The door clicked open and Stella withdrew her hand. She and Tayo saw Diyemi at the door. "Your time is almost up," he narrowed his eyes at Tayo.

Tayo just nodded with a smile and turned to Stella as the door shut. "Don't be so quick to reject me Stella, remember this is our world, you can't think like those lower than you. Think of what you stand to gain."

He got up ignoring Stella's glare. "And that detective of yours-"

"What about him?!"

"Wow, you are oddly defensive," Tayo stared with a shadowed look and Stella flinched. "He acts like your shield, so pathetic. He saved you from being stabbed and now he was attacked at the hospital..."

"What?" Stella was shocked.

Tayo smirked. "You haven't heard? He was attacked like you. One day, that man might die for you...and I'll be pleased to be done with him."
