In Chinaza's room, the sounds of glasses shattering and heavy machinery being broken echoed. Chinaza stopped throwing things and held her forehead, crying terribly.

She froze when she heard a knock on the door. "Who is it?" she asked in delicate voice.

"Fred...your...bodyguard."

"Go away."

Silence filled the air for a brief moment then the door creaked open. Chinaza snapped her head to the uninvited person, her bloodshot tear-filled eyes narrowed at the invader.

Fred cautiously approached her.

"Don't you understand what 'go away' means?" Chinaza asked in a low deadly voice.

"Yes, I do."

"Then go away!" Chinaza yelled, throwing one more object but she slumped weakly. She sniffed, a tear dropping and stopped. "Go away..."

"I won't."

"Why not?!" Chinaza snapped again angrily. she sprang up to her feet, "just go away! I want to be alone, that is all I want! Is that too much to ask?!"

Fred continued, "you've been alone for too long. You should allow yourself to feel Chinaza. You are a human being, not a robot."

Chinaza scoffed with a bitter smile. "Robot? I am fine being one. I just want to be alone. Away from this terrible family. Have I told you how much I hate them" she continued, "all I wanted was to live happily, on my own but I have to stay here because of a stupid murderer".

Fred stood still, quietly listening to her words attentively.

"You know what? I blame my father the most for my predicament" Chinaza smiled ruefully, "why did he have to be my father?! I would have preferred being alone than all this."

Chinaza suddenly slumped to the floor crying and Fred's bodyguard expression broke. He walked over to her and knelt down, patting her back.

She sobbed even louder and dropped her head on the crook of his neck. He stroked her back, patting it consolingly.

"it's okay Chinaza" he said softly and Chinaza felt comforted.

Later, Stella walked down the hall on her way to Chinaza's room, a tray of food in her hands. She met Fred standing outside the door.

"is anything the problem?" Fred asked politely.

Stella shook her head with a small smile, "no. How is Chinaza? Is she still upset?"

"Not really but she is asleep now" Fred smiled, "miss Stella, everything will be fine. Don't worry too much."

"That's comforting Fred."

He glanced at the tray in her hands, "is that for her?"

"No, It's for Megan, I don't think she has eaten and it isn't good for her to eat on an empty stomach." Stella replied.
