Chapter 23- Hands

“You didn't inform me about this!” I unbelievably said to Sejun. My eyes are wide open because I'm shock. Paano ba naman? Kaya pala hinayaan nya akong bumili ng bumili ng mga damit sa mall kahapon because we're staying here in the resort for a couple of days!

Stell, Ken and Justin left this morning. Only me, Sejun, Josh, Sy and their children are left in here.

I look directly to him and our eyes met. His eyes are apologetic, showing that he's sorry. “ I'm sorry if I drag you into this situation. Forgive me, please” Sejun's voice is reflecting how sorry he is.

Actually it's not really a big deal. I'm just shock because he didn't inform me. Ayoko sa mga bagay na biglaan. Yung tipong hindi ako iniinform. It reminds me of the sudden turn of events that my parents did. We're happy that time but in just one snap, everything became a mess.

I take a deep breath then I let it out afterwards. I calmly look at Sejun and let out a small smile. “ You don't need to say sorry. It's fine, I'm just shock a while ago. You know, I hate being surprised. I'm sorry for my actions” We look into each other and then laugh afterwards. We laughed crazily because suddenly, the tables turned.

“C'mon, let's stop this drama and enjoy the beach” Umuna na akong maglakad sa kanya. And because Sejun is taller than me, his steps are bigger than mine. Natatanaw ko na ang cottage kung nasaan sina Josh when I felt something in my hand.

It's like our hands is the Sun in the solar system. The place where the highest amount of gravity is. It feels like the gravity pull where my eyes are the one being pulled at the center of our solar system. I can't take my eyes from it! Our hands are intertwined, I look at Sejun to see his reaction, and it seems normal. My gaze come back to our hands. I smiled. Our hands fit like a glove.

When we reached the cottage ay tsaka nya lang binitawan ang kamay ko. Agad akong dumiretso kay Sy na karga-karga si Case. Si Sejun naman ay dumiretso kay Josh na buhat-buhat si Chase.

The cottage is spacious. Kasama rin namin ang nannies ng kambal. I saw Josh handed Chase into his nany. Both of him and Sejun go where the ihawan is. They said that they'll grill some foods for us.

After they left, Sy turned to me. She handed Case to one of the nannies before slightly pinching my waist. “Ouch!” I hissed while my forehead is creased. I'm waiting for her apologetic look but it didn't happen. Instead of saying sorry, she look at me playfully.

Oh no, I think I know what that look means...

“My gosh! Its been donkey's years since I want this to happen! Ikaw ha, ang smooth rin ng galawan nyo. Low-key na harutan, ganon?” Oh, please help me not to slap this bestfriend of mine. Walang preno ang bibig!

I blush because of what she said. Ang Luka kong kaibigan, mas lumapad ang ngiti!

“So, ano? Did you did 'it' ? Magkakaroon na ba ng kalaro ang kambal ko? Am I going to be a god mother soon?”      Napasapo nalang ako ng noo. Kinaibigan ko ba talaga ang isang 'to. Jusko! Walang preno ang bibig.

“Hey, stop teasing me! Be thankful dahil wala ako dito nung mga panahon na naghaharutan kayo ni Josh! Kung nandito lang ako, higit pa dito ang aabutin mo” Sy just laugh because of what I said. Bakit ba ako nagkaroon ng baliw na bestfriend?!

Pabiro nyang sinundot-sundot ang bewang ko. “Stop that! ” I hissed. Instead of backing out, she clung her arms into mine like what we always do when we are walking before. A typical bestfriends gesture.

“ Nah, I won't stop making fun of you. We're as thick as thieves, remember?” Because of what she said, I just sighed. Ano pa ba ang magagawa ko? She won't stop, anyway.
