As the redheaded knocked on the cold hard door, she inhaled a breath and exhaled once more, she didn't know what to wear so she just put on a baby pink cropped top and a pair of comfortable sweatpants.

When she was about to knock again, the door swung open, only to be greeted by a girl who's not Jiaqi but in fact was Yuyan with a towel wrapped around her body and hair dripping wet. "Why are you here?" The raspy yet soft tone of the green haired girl rang in Xueer's ears as she felt herself taking a step back.

However before she could even answer, Jiaqi came rushing to the door and nudging Yuyan out of the way, "Come in Xueer, don't mind Yuyan. She's always like that." Smiling awkwardly while dragging Xueer into her room, Jiaqi glanced at Yuyan for a second with sharp eyes, as if it was a signal to not disturb them when they are studying.

Immediately knowing what he meant, the badass rolled her eyes and grabbed her bag of potato chips before heading to her room. Silence warped around the two as they stared blankly at the table. Xueer's mind was filled with queries as she wondered why Yuyan was here, only to come into a conclusion that they were living together.

Forcing herself to shift her mindset, Xueer broke the silence and turned to Jiaqi, "So uh...should we start now?" The taller nodded while switching on her computer. The latter then took this moment to really study her home.

The campus beauty can't deny that she was shocked with Jiaqi's home. Because of her vibrant and weirdly coloured outfits she wore to school, she would expect her home to be just as brightly coloured. However, it was completely the opposite.

Everywhere she looked was black and bits of red and white. From the curtains to the bedsheets, they were all either these 3 colours. Even the smell she thought it would be very sweet and candy like or some weird combination of smells but it smelled like roses and lavender with a tinge of something unfamiliar in her room. Not to mention that the air-conditioner was lowered all the way down, making it feel like the North Pole there.

Her attention was then averted back to Jiaqi who had her eyes on Xueer, with her brows furrowing. "Is it too cold for you? Do you want be to lower it down?" Realising that Jiaqi must had noticed her shivering, Xueer shook her head and smiled, "I'm good. Thank you for asking though."

The awkward atmosphere between them had slowly changed into a comfortable one as they started their discussion. Unlike the last time, they were seated closer to one another because of the limited space, causing them to graze their fingers and knees together every once in a while.

Each time that happened, Xueer would feel shivers go down her spine while Jiaqi will try not to smile. "Since we are just doing the main points of the whole play, let's have the act when Romeo had his mask off and Juliet fell in love at first sight." The short haired suggested while glancing at Xueer ho agreed with a grin on her face.

"Good pilgrim, you do wrong your hand too much. Which mannerly devotion shows in this. For saints have hands that pilgrims' hand do touch." The redheaded started with a singing yet talking voice, urging a smile on Jiaqi's face as she signaled Xueer to continue.

"And palm to palm is holy palmers' kiss." Just as she said that, her hands unconsciously reached out for Jiaqi's hands, clasping them together with a cheeky smile on her face. Trying not to show herself flustering over the sudden act, Jiaqi remained stoic, "Have not saints lips, and holy palmers too?"

Staring into her eyes, Xueer smiled, her eyes shaping into a crescent, "Ay pilgrim, lips that they must use in prayer." She then shifted closer to Jiaqi as 'Romeo' said her lines, "Then, dear saint, let lips do what hands do." Their fingers slowly intertwined as their gazes were fixated on each others' eyes.

"Grant thou, lest fait turn to despair." A short pause came before Xueer begun again, "Saints do not move, through grant for prayers' sake." She then slowly started to lean in as Jiaqi gulped her words down, "Then move not, while my prayer's effect I take..." Though the taller knew she was just acting, it actually seemed like Xueer was serious about the whole kissing thing.

Because of that thought, Jiaqi's mind magnified the blood scent of Xueer, causing her pupils to switch from dilating and going back to normal as she tried her very best to control her fangs from extracting. One thing about vampires going through the so called puberty and teenage phase, their control of their vampire sides weaken as their hormones over take them.

Not returning the action, Jiaqi cleared her throat and smiled awkwardly, "That was not bad for our first try. We should start the play from this scene." Xueer's eyes fluttered open as she stared at Jiaqi, her head tilting side wards as her hands reached out to Jiaqi's face. Cupping her chin, Xueer grazed her fingers against her jawline, "When say the lines, you shouldn't look too uncomfortable like just now..."

She then moved her fingers to the sides of her lips and gently traced a smile against her soft cold pale skin, "Instead, you could've smiled."

Unconsciously, Jiaqi leaned in to her warm touch, the feeling of warmth lingering on her skin. Fortunately for Jiaqi, Xueer's warm magical touch instantly brought her back into reality, the gentle caressing of her hands smoothening her pulse rate too. To Xueer, she looked like a cat being petted by its owner which was absolutely adorable. The campus beauty left her hand there below her chin and jaw, waiting for Jiaqi to lean away from her touch with those huge eyes studying her features while admiring.

Finally reluctantly moving away from her touch, Jiaqi adjusted her heavy and bulky glasses while nodding as if that moment did not even happen, "I'll keep that in mind."
