"Wait, can you try repeat this line again but try to add in more emotions?" As her doll like eyes stared into the latter's fox like ones while her words rang in her ears, Jiaqi unconsciously nodded her head and did exactly what she was told.

However, as she was reciting the line halfway through, her phone rang. Reluctantly answering the call, Jiaqi wished nothing would interrupt them. "Hello-" The older immediately froze on the spot as Yuyan's breathless and worrisome pants came through the phone, "I-I couldn't reach you...through telepathy. You have to...hurry to the woods...that we were in just that day...I am bei-"

The line was then cut off right after a grunt escaped Yuyan's lips. Without even waiting, Jiaqi hurriedly apologised to Xueer who had been studying her expression the whole time, "Uh...Xueer, I have to go now. Do you mind if we have another meeting next week?" The redheaded girl smiled and politely answered, "Of course. I'll get going now then."

Though her head was filled with questions, Xueer didn't ask as she knew it had to be something urgent. On the other hand, as soon as she left, Jiaqi instantly put on a set of black tights, hoodie and mask on before sprinting to the woods. A million negative thoughts crowded her head as she tried to locate where Yuyan was. Luckily, Yuyan must have smelled her blood scent as their telepathy finally worked.

'Jiaqi, hurry, I need assistance right now. These bitches are right on my tail with their silent ass bikes.' Slowly sensing the vibrations of the bikes, Jiaqi smirked, 'Got you'. As her eyes lit a deep luminous red, she swiftly caught up with the humans. They looked like those typical agents working for the government, slicked back hair, sunglasses, a suit and tie, except instead of a gun, they had some sort of syringe with the same blue liquid they saw that night.

Creeping right behind one of them without even any of the 5 agents spotting Jiaqi, she swiftly pulled the guy off the bike and threw him at least 5 metres away, making him crash into a tree with bones cracking. The vacant bike then stopped and crashed onto the man who was now squashed between the bike and the tree.

"Shit, there's another one. Get the both of them!" As the others started panicking and looking around trying to spot Jiaqi who was already behind one of them, Yuyan took this opportunity and jumped up high, hopping onto one of the guy's back.

"Not on my watch." Whispering into the guy's ear manically, Jiaqi bit into his neck as his groans of pain echoed through the woods. All the 4 bikes then came to a halt and crashed as 2 agents were killed by both Yuyan and Jiaqi, while the other 2 stopped to have better aim at the vampires.

"You sneaky bitches. Just wait till I kill you.." One of the guys hissed as he charged towards Yuyan who was already tired from fighting at least 15 before Jiaqi came. Seeing how Yuyan was a bit late to react to his words which she would already be laughing at, Jiaqi hurriedly intercepted and elbowed the guy right in his ribs before he could come close to her friend.

The sound of his ribcage cracking was music to Jiaqi's ears as she continued to kick him right in the chest, sending him flying towards a tree. Not having anytime to rest, she swiftly bent down avoiding the other guy's attack and kicked him right in his nuts. Snatching the syringe out of his hand, Jiaqi stared right into the guy's eyes, "Your blood scent sure smells inviting. Too bad I'm not into guys." She then stabbed the syringe right into him, making him fall to the floor with a loud thud.

Spitting some of her victims' blood out while scanning the dead bodies around her, Jiaqi rolled her eyes before turning her attention to Yuyan. "Are you alright Yan? How many did you fight before I arrived?" Her voice was laced with worry as she helped the green haired girl up, her skin was dotted with cuts and bruises. Unlike how movies depict vampires for their ability to recover fast, healing takes time for them too, just like humans.

"Y-yea I'm fine. Just 15." Yuyan smiled weakly while Jiaqi shook her head with a worried yet disapproving look. The older then proceeded to help her up, "Just? Are you out of your mind? Why didn't you call me sooner?" The two didn't even bother discarding the bodies before leaving the woods. Those 20 were sent by the government to kill vampires, there's no point.

"Why were you even here in the first place?" Questioning the younger while removing her mask, Jiaqi then headed to the kitchen and washed her dirt and blood stained hands. Doing the same as Jiaqi, Yuyan replied with a sigh, "I headed there to hunt but once I reached, the 20 of them were already there waiting. And before I could even leave, one of the dudes spotted me."

Gulping down some water, Jiaqi wiped her mouth and calmly stated, "Looks like we would have to change our location for a hunt now." As Yuyan pulled out a familiar looking syringe with the same blue substance, a victorious smirk appeared on her face, "At least we got this. I can send it back to our base and have it checked."

Clapping her hands sarcastically, Jiaqi rolled her eyes playfully, "You're just so smart." The younger just flicked her hair and smiled, "Of course. I'm the genius between the two of us." Acting offended, Jiaqi then grabbed the remote and switched on the television.

And of course the first thing on the news was about the event just now. "Just this afternoon the government has announced that there are vampires lurking amongst us humans after the news of their 19 agents were killed. Luckily, one of them survived and this is his statement about the vampires he encountered."

Their home was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. The duo had their eyes stuck to the screen as a long scroll of words flashed. The news reporter then recited the lines written down.

"At first it was just one vampire. But then a second came after thirty minutes. Both were girls. The first one had dark green hair. The second one had short black hair. I did hear a bit of the second's voice, it was so seductive yet powerful, her eyes were glowing red too as she said those same words, 'Your blood scent sure smells inviting. Too bad I'm not into guys.'"

In that moment, Jiaqi and Yuyan knew that they were in trouble. If he could give more clues that were hinting towards the two of them, war will begin. "Fuck, I thought he was dead! I literally stabbed him with that darn syringe!" Jiaqi cursed as she ran her hands through her damp hair. "Maybe this blue liquid only affects vampires, not humans..." Yuyan's silent yet cold voice echoed in their flat as her eyes stared at the syringe in her hands.

On the other hand, Xueer who was in her room, heard the news playing from the living room as her wicked parents were watching it. She couldn't help but to go online and check it out herself. As she read the statement from the agent. Instantly feeling a set of chills travel down her spine, somehow Jiaqi and Yuyan immediately popped in her mind.

Green hair and Short black hair? That literally describes the two of them. However, she immediately erased and mentally scolded herself. Seductive? That is definitely not Jiaqi, I mean she literally looks like an innocent nerd. That was her exact thought.
