Forbidden Love [Jiaqi x Xueer]

"Are you ready, Xueer?" In a melodious voice, Jiaqi questioned the redhead who was still in her room deciding what to wear. As it was Jiaqi's closet and not hers, she just decided to wear a white soft knitted sweater and a pair of comfy jeans with a bedge parka to top it off. The vampire on the other hand wore a black turtleneck, a pair of black pants and a grey parka. The exact opposite colour schemes.

Heading to the car with her hot chocolate that Jiaqi had made for her, Xueer sniffed in the cold and huffed, "You still have not tell me about where we're going." Jiaqi shook her head and teased before a smirk appeared on her face, "A no is a no. You'll have to wait babygirl..."

The redhead couldn't get her mind off the way Jiaqi had called her a 'babygirl'.  Surely shock had first hit her before satifaction and contentment. Either ways, Xueer shrugged off that feeling and looked out the window in anticipation. She couldn't wait to know the place Jiaqi was so eagerly hiding from her.

After a few moments, they had finally reached the ice skating ring. It was huge. Squealing with delight, the redhead linked her arms with Jiaqi and immediately pulled her to the counter to collect their ice skates. Jiaqi felt her heart palpitate even faster, she was beyond nervous. The thing was, Jiaqi had asked Shuxin and Xiaotang what Xueer loved to do during winter and one of them was ice skating. That was why she had brought her there however, she herself can't skate.

"W-wait Xueer I can't-" Before Jiaqi could finish her sentence, Xueer had already dragged her to the skating ring with a huge grin plastered on her face. With just one tiny step, Jiaqi had fallen to the ground face flat, hard.

Bursting out into laughter, the redhead stretched out her hand for Jiaqi to grab before teasing her, "Sheesh, the most intimidating vampire can't skate?" Right on her face was a huge bright grin, playfully mocking the taller who was sulking adorably.

"Well you can teach me." Trying to calm her heated up face, Jiaqi shot a stunning half smirk and smile. Embarrassment was the last thing she wanted to feel during their first date together.

Getting behind Jiaqi, the campus beauty gently adjusted her posture and whispered in her ears, "I'll guide you but it ain't free." As she turned around with Xueer still holding onto her waist and shoulders, Jiaqi narrowed her eyes at the redhead, "And what would the payment be?"

Carefully, Xueer tightly held onto Jiaqi's hands as she took a step backwards, forcing the taller to move forward. She then flashed an innocent and pure smile, "Let me take you out on a date too." Biting down on her lip as if she was considering about it, Jiaqi cheekily grinned, "You don't even have to ask Xueer. I'll do whatever you want."

With each baby step, Jiaqi was slowly getting the hang of it while Xueer guided her around the ring. Of course there were times when the almighty vampire fell to the ground with over dramatically teary eyes and cries, making the redhead snigger and laugh at the comical sight.

Only after an hour, Jiaqi could finally skate on her own, just not as fast as Xueer. As she tried to stabilise herself on the slippery floor right after getting up from another fall, she caught sight of Xueer who was elegantly gliding across the glittering floor. She did a few spins in the air and a variety of graceful tricks which Jiaqi couldn't comprehend. Her auburn hair flowed down like a river as she stayed in the air majestically, it almost seemed as if she had came out right from a fairy tale.

Blown away by Xueer's display, Jiaqi started clapping like a cute seal while cheering her girlfriend on, only distracting the campus beauty which made her fall to the ground with the vampire frantically skating over to her.

After some time spent on ice skating, they then headed to a hot pot restaurant. Seeing as to how Xueer's eyes glimmered and shined as they landed on the hot pot right in front of them, Jiaqi knew that Xueer loved her and hot pot equally much, causing her to sulk over it a little.

Throughout their heavy lunch, Jiaqi kept putting more food in Xueer's bowl like a typical Asian parent which caused the redhead to snigger at that thought. She then decided to do the exact same except instead of putting it in her bowl, she would just feed her.

"Open your mouth."

Raising her brow, Jiaqi questioned before obeying instantly after Xueer shot a glare. The campus beauty then gently fed the taller who was melting at how soft the latter was right then.

Finally finished with their lunch, the couple had a walk around the park. The sun was setting into the horizon while the winter breeze caressed their rosy cheeks. Snow flakes fluttered down as they walked down the empty path along the lake. Hand in hand, the two enjoyed the silence which was interrupted by crickets and whooshing wind. The warmth from each others body spreading to one another as they had a romantic slow walk around the park, fighting the thick coldness.

"Imagine us walking hand in hand down the aisle, how lovely would that be. One could only dream." Jiaqi broke the silence as she glanced at the redhead who supported a genuine smile under the lamppost.

"We can always make that dream into reality." Wriggling her eyebrows as Jiaqi nudged her with a melodious laugh escaping her lips, Xueer then huffed. "What's so funny? I'm being serious okay?"

The taller snaked her arm around her waist before replying with a honey coated voice, "I'm only laughing because of how adorable you looked." She then used her other hand and lightly pinched Xueer's cheeks, making the latter pout.

Strolling though the path littered with fallen leaves and snow, the two discussed about everything. From how they lived their lives before meeting to animals. Jiaqi then decided to let Xueer in on what Christmas present she was getting her after much whining from the red head, "Fine. I'll only tell you a hint. It's something you love dearly but don't need at all."

Xueer then grinned victoriously as she guessed, "It's make up isn't it?" Shocked that she was right, Jiaqi decided to shake her head while Xueer laughed at how obvious that hint was. Not that she was narcistic, it was just what Jiaqi would say to her every day, "You're already extremely beautiful without make up, why still use it?"

The campus beauty then decided to let Jiaqi in on what she was getting her for Christmas, "It's shiny and expensive." That let Jiaqi pondering for days. There were so many shiny and expensive things in this world, there was no way she could guess what it was until the day Christmas finally arrived.
