Forbidden Love [Jiaqi x Xueer]

As the new week started, so did the rumours too. 5 days passed and there was still no sign of 'The new girl and weird kid'. Rumours were everywhere that they transferred school or moved to another country. However, there was one which got everyone laughing--- they were the vampires. Of course Xueer was extremely worried that they were true, since Jiaqi has not replied to her texts. She can't bear the thought of never seeing Jiaqi again.

"What? They can't just leave like that! The basketball team needs them." Xiaotang sighed exasperatedly as she scrolled through their school's blog page where all gossips were. Xueer remained silent while Shuxin laughed at Xiaotang's despair. She was so deep into her thoughts that she didn't even notice Yuxin coming her way.

"Doesn't it feel so much better that that weirdo isn't here to disturb us?" The blonde's smug expression could not be missed. For the first time, Xueer felt as if she hated Yuxin down to the guts. Mixed with the anxiousness and worry she had for Jiaqi, the redheaded had enough of her remarks towards Jiaqi.

"What is your problem with Jiaqi? She did nothing to you and yet you just want to drag her down. And guess what, we are done. Over. Don't ever come close to me." As she went on, her voice grew louder, attracting students' attention. Standing by the side, Shuxin and Xiaotang exchanged looks while Yuxin's expression immediately turned dark.

"You're breaking up with me for that bitch? So it was true that she tried to get close to you..." Chuckling with a gaze that turned harder by the second, Yuxin then grabbed Xueer's hand and pulled her harshly, "You're coming with me. We're going to talk about it right now, there's no fighting back. What did she do to you? Drugged you?"

The campus beauty felt her anger boil by the moment as she struggled to escape the vice like grip of Yuxin. "The audacity for you to even think like that is disgusting. Let go of me right now." Yuxin did not listen, in fact she tightened her grip which made Xueer yelp in pain, her skin was burning as her nails dug into her skin.

Not liking Yuxin one bit from then on, Xiaotang and Shuxin stepped forward and was about to rip Yuxin off of Xueer when a familiar voice was heard.

"Aww, you must've missed me so much right Yuxin? So here I am now, let go of Xueer and come for me, after all I'm your target." A taunting voice echoed down the halls.

Gasps were heard every where when all eyes landed on Jiaqi. No more bulky glasses, no more hairclips all over her head, no more fake drawn on acne and lastly, no more hiding her real self. She wore a black cropped top with black leggings, topped off with a denim jacket.

Silence enveloped the halls, only muffled whispers and gasps could be heard. Yuxin on the other hand slowly released her grip as her shocked yet fierce gaze stared into Jiaqi's pair of eyes. Xueer couldn't help but to smile when she saw the duo, especially Jiaqi. She missed her so much, it was already a miracle that Jiaqi came back, but on top of that she even showed her true self.

Staring right at the so called new Jiaqi, Xueer was completely captivated by her, she couldn't even process if that was the real Jiaqi or not.

Yuyan stood beside her with a devilish smirk, her newly dyed dark blue hair shining under the flickering lights. She had her hands tucked into the pockets of her denim jeans as she added on, "Surprise surprise motherfuckers."

Jiaqi would've laughed at Yuyan's words if not for the previous sight of Yuxin hurting Xueer. Approaching the blonde, she raised a perfect brow before smiling innocently, "Cat got your tongue? You'll get used to it-" Right then, Yuxin lashed at the short haired girl, interrupting Jiaqi who swiftly dodged Yuxin's punch.

"Woah, no need to get violent." However Yuxin was starting to grow more annoyed and angry by the second, leading to her cursing at Jiaqi and throwing punches towards her which were all avoided without her even trying. It was obvious that Yuxin had a deep hatred towards her.

Sensing that Yuyan was about to lay a kick on the blonde, Jiaqi stopped her with a reassuring nod. However it was then Yuxin had her knuckles grazing against Jiaqi's cheeks. If the taller had not noticed and dodged, she would've been punched hard. Because of this, Jiaqi knew Yuxin had experience with fighting, she had incredibly precise and quick aim, something not everyone had.

Ignoring that suspicious thought then, Jiaqi raised another brow and flashed a lopsided grin which contrasted with her murderous gaze, "If you really wanna get violent, don't blame me for this then." Before Yuxin could even respond, Jiaqi swiftly grabbed hold of both her hand, twisting both her arms to the back and pushing her against the locker, earning more than multiple gasps among the crowd and a groan of pain from Yuxin.

Xueer only looked in fascination, she wasn't surprised if her eyes had those animated stars in them as she stared at Jiaqi. Of course Shuxin and Xiaotang noticed their best friend's expression but decided to remain silent about it for now.

"I'll remind you again. Lay your filthy hands on Xueer again and you're gonna regret it." She then glanced at Yuyan and signaled her to head to class first which she did. Although of course with annoyance as a group of girls and boys started crowing around and following her.

Not sparing a glance at Yuxin, Jiaqi then let go of her and gently held Xueer's wrist before leading her to the nurse's office, leaving everyone still baffled about what had just happened.

A comfortable silence warped around them before Jiaqi broke it, ordering the redheaded to sit on the bed.

"Sit down. I'll help you to treat your wounds."

Xueer giggled as she saw Jiaqi's soft expression flicker to a hard one when her eyes landed on the scratches Yuxin left on her arm. "They are just scratches. Nothing serious." Ignoring her words, Jiaqi sat by her side and softly treated her wounds.

There was some blood since Yuxin's nails dug quite deeply into Xueer's flesh. However, she controlled herself and managed to pull through the whole time while treating her wounds.

Xueer silently looked at Jiaqi's face, her eyes scanning her every feature. The redheaded didn't even realise that she had her breath held back, proving how breath taking Jiaqi was in her eyes. Once she was done with her wounds, Xueer's hands then reached out to her chin, slowly lifting her chin up so their eyes could meet.

"I missed you so much...where did you even go?" Whispering as her eyes continued taking in Jiaqi's facial features, Xueer's warm touch lingered on Jiaqi's face. The black haired girl only smiled sheepishly and scratched her nape, "I...I wanted to find the real me. So I had to take some time to do that."

That wasn't really what she was doing. Yuyan and her were told to go back by the king and queen after the spread of the news. They were trained for the worst. Every step the government take, every decision the vampires must make.

The redheaded remained silent as her hands slid around Jiaqi's waist, pulling her into her warm embrace. Leaning into her touch, Jiaqi's lips tugged up in the corner as she hugged back.

The warmth that she missed sincerely was back. That magical sensation whenever she was under Xueer's touch lasted longer this time.

Staying in that position for a long time, the two didn't bothered to head to classes. In fact, lessons were the last thing in their minds right then.
