Dear Ms. Erelia Lanche Raimondi,

Good day! The position for Accounting Manager on DZ Group of Companies is open for replacement due to the resignation of the former Accounting Manager. In line with this, the executives are requesting you for an immediate transfer as the chosen replacement because they are satisfied with your performance as an Accounting Manager at DZ Banks-Makati.

We are hoping for a positive response and we are looking forward on working with you.

Ilang beses akong napakurap dahil sa nabasa ko.

"Huy, magsalita ka naman!" Bigla akong tinulak ni Violet.

"Is this for real?"

"Totoo na 'yan te!" Masayang sabi ni Charles.

"Wag mo kaming kakalimutan Rei ha." Ani Samantha.

"Of course, why would I?" I chuckled.

"Treat us on your first salary there." Jorgeina said.

"Sige ano? Burger o Siopao?" Biro ko at agad nila akong binato ng kung ano-ano.

"Pero seryoso Erelia," biglang sabi ng branch manager namin, "you deserved it and may God continue blessing you and your life ahead."

"Ano ba yan Sir." Biglang eksena ni Limuel. "Wala pa ngang despedida party, ang dami mo ng drama."

"Magtrabaho ka na." Agad namang utos ni Sir Wayne sa kanya.

"Ito na po." Sumunod naman siya at bumalik kaming lahat sa trabaho.

Pero buong araw kong iniisip ang tungkol sa transfer request na natanggap ko.

"Kailan ka aalis?" Tanong ni Violet habang nag-aabang kami ng masasakyan pauwi.

"Kung kelan niyo na ako papaalisin." Walang kwenta kong sagot.

"Nakakainggit ka no?" Bigla namang sabi ni Hara.

"Huh? Bakit naman?" Tanong ko.

"Sa bata mong edad,actually we're older than you, pero ang rami mong na-achieve. You know,we saw how amazing are you on the field of accounting. Duh,you're a Magna Cum Laude." She suddenly complimented me.

"Nah, it's just a matter of timing." Sagot ko sa kanila.

Kasi, totoo naman eh. If it's not for you, it's not for you. The best is yet to come,ika nga.

Kinabukasan, natambakan ako ng papeles dahil kailangan kong tapusin iyon lahat bago ako lilipat. I organized the papers based on what to with them, like I put aside the financial statements that I need to review and the general ledgers that I needed to reconcile. After organizing them, I started to work on the general ledgers first before I worked on the financial statements. Just on one day, I finished half of the papers that I needed to work on.

Three days had passed and I'm almost done with my papers.

"Yun oh, ready'ng ready na si Miss Rei magtransfer." Ani Royce, a junior accountant.

"Hindi no,nakakakaba kaya." I chuckled.

"Galingan mo Miss Rei ha, susundan kita doon." Sagot niya naman at nag-asaran ang mga kasamahan ko sa kalagitnaan ng pagkain namin ng snacks.

Paano ba naman kasi, itong si Royce bigla nalang nagsabi na crush niy ako sa pangalawang araw niya sa opisina, at syempre ang mga kasamahan kong ang hilig mang-asar, agad siyang inasar at nakikisabay naman siya. Mamimiss ko talaga ang bond namin na ganito.
