Solace

I folded my legs on the bed and rested my back on Worth's chest. His playing with the strands of my hair, carefully placing them behind my ear then letting it fall back to my shoulder again to stroke it with his long fingers. I breathed in and continued listening to his heartbeat.

I silently place both of my hands on his other arm hugging my waist. Halos napapalibutan na nito ang buong tiyan ko nang ilang oras na pero hanggang ngayon wala pa rin siyang pagsususpetsa.

It has been hours since he broke in to my room. He wanted me to go back to sleep on his shoulder but I can't. I tried sleeping but his presence kept me awake. I don't think I can sleep anymore. With Worth lay here in my small bed, I just want to feel him again. To breathe him.

I'm also scared. That if I sleep, I might woke and he's gone again. I don't like the thought.

He tilted his head to me. I looked at him. I found him starring with his forehead creased. I waited for his crease to disappear but didn't.

"What?" I muttered.

"Something's different with you."

His fingers draw small circles on my shoulder then went up to touch my cheeks. "You're cheeks are redder than the last time," His hand moved back to my shoulder. "Your lips were paler and you weighed a little now."

I raised my brow. I averted my gaze to my hands touching his arm on my stomach.

"T-Talaga?" Lumunok ako. I played my fingers on his arm. He really didn't get what I said. Baka inisip niya lang na nagkamali ako sa sinabi. Ngayon niya lang napapansin ang katawan ko.

Maybe I did gained weight.

"Though you're still beautiful. I just noticed some difference. Did I miss so much of you, Bellemy?" He caressed my hair with the back of his palm.

He rested his head on the headboard and pulled me closer to him. I adjusted my body and snuggled myself closer to him. I hugged his chest.

"Yes," I honestly answered. "You did, Worth Warren."

You weren't with me when I found out I was carrying your child.

Naramdaman ko ang malalim na pagbuntong hininga niya. "I'm sorry."

Natahimik ako. He apologized again. "You should stop saying sorry to me. You did great, Worth. I s-saw it. I saw you..."
Umupo ako at hinirap siya sa mata.

Lumunok ako at mahinang tumango.

"It hurts that you weren't here but seeing you there, standing in front of so many people makes me want to risk. I can risk whatever we had for that outcome. If I--we didn't let each other go then you won't have that chance."

My heart pounded when I remembered how he declared his love for me. "T-Thank you..."

He gasped and averted his gaze. His hand on my shoulder slide down to my fingers to grasped my hand.

"You saw..." He whispered.

Humarap siya sakin. Mariin ang mga mata. "I'm happy that you saw that--I wanted you to see it anyway. But there's no risking, Bellemy. We're not risking anything here, baby. You did not risk anything, neither did I. Letting go was not a risk. It was decision that we both made," He placed my hand on his chest.

"But I don't know if we really did let go on each other, Bellemy. You were here." He clenched my palm on his chest. I can feel his fast heartbeat, even faster than my own. "Am I somewhere with you, too?"

I bit my lower lip trying to hide a mocking smile because of his question. Where are you indeed, Worth? But I do know you have a part my stomach at this moment.
