Freedom
Men in black military suits went down from the ropes in the skies. They were carrying guns--almost tanklikes. War planes landed on top of every cliff and the same armed men came out on position to shoot.
They began searching the whole place.
"It's UNCO. Walter's world legion."
I can't see his father since we're on the back.
The one with tattoos all over their chest with slender bodies, holding long-edged guns.
Umawang ang baba ko nang maalala sila. I turned to Worth for confirmation.
He nodded and clenched his jaw. "It's them. Terrorists are under his legion too."
They are all over the place. The men in black suits and terrorists.
I gasped when some of them pointed at our house. Worth's hands moved my face to look away.
I lifted my eyes to him.
"It's okay, baby.." He tried to assure me.
They are ruining it..
I folded my lips trying my best not to let a tear slip through my eyes.
I reached for his face and kissed his jaw to divert my attention.
"You're scared."
He concluded to me. Mahinang tumango ako. There's no point at hiding that to him now. Those people are destroying the only house I've got for the past ten years.
He doesn't seem bothered by any of this. Is this the kind of scene you see most of your days, baby?
"Bellemy."
Nagmulat ako sa mariin niyang pagtawag sakin.
"Breathe in and take it all in, baby. Keep yourself together for me. I promise I won't let anything happen to you. We're here now, we get out of it together."
"Don't think of what you see. Think of me, your mother, Andromeda, the rest of the soldiers that are here with us. Think of your dreams, those people below, the villagers, the children, the ones infected and died because of cruelty. This is just a scene with loud noises. None of these matters but our reasons do." Mahinang usal niya.
Napalunok ako at tumango sa kanya. You chose to be here, Bellemy.
"Will you hate me if I kill tonight?"
Nagulat ako sa tanong niya. Umiling ako.
"No. In fact, someone told me to see you in close combat and shooting. I want to see your moves, Worth. And.. dripping wet."
Surprise lingered on his face, shocked by my words. He smirked at me and bit his lower lip. Gumuhit din ang ngisi sa mukha ko.
"Oh, now you're asking for it. Then you better keep your eyes on me, Bellemy. Watch me carefully. I'll give you satisfaction."
