if there's one problem that a lot of people have with writing, it's being funny when writing. sometimes, you can't just read it and it be funny, sometimes it actually has to happen in real life for it to be genuinely funny. here's some tips:
1) have your character be sarcastic.
2) think of memes, or something that you think is funny and try to make that into your story
3) have your character make up creative insults or nicknames
4) have them make a joke in a serious situation
5) have them make up witty and quick comebacks
