Here are some more symptoms of CPTSD that isn't really discussed a lot.
1. getting easily overwhelmed in large crowds, even to the point of a panic attack.
2. getting upset or mad at a loud alarm.
3. getting sharp pains in your side/neck/shoulder/collarbones/back that make it hard to breathe. these are due to high anxiety.
4. learning that high anxiety is not the same as generalised anxiety, like other people have panic attacks and don't feel like they can accomplish anything. PTSD anxiety makes you more frantic that makes you want to talk/walk/move around/do things even as an introvert, to avoid stopping. which can make you feel like you're constantly bored. like you always need to be doing something. like you always need to be chasing something.
5. trouble falling asleep (meaning literally just lying there. no phone, no tv, nothing is on to distract or keep you awake. you are awake for no reason. your eyes or body may even be tired, but you still can't fall asleep) this is distinct from insomnia.
6. thinking up stories while in the shower or before bed. people with CPTSD use this as a way to escape their own minds, their situations, reality, or just their lives in general.
7. sabotaging relationships such as familial or romantic, because they think "i was going to fuck it up anyway"
yay another chapter, next is gonna be guy NSFW scenes :)
