okay so, no one asked for this or anything but for you new comers to wattpad, one thing you want is for your story to physically look good.
1) do not have only one paragraph in your chapters. have paragraph breaks, otherwise it will scare your readers.
2) have fonts, make chapter titles or the first word of every chapter have a font. it will look so good like that.
3) if youre like me, and you dont have fonts, use the bold and italics to your advantage.
4) have a nice title and cover that match your story. dont just pull them from your ass.
5) put gifs, i love when the story has a nice looking gif before diving into the chapter
6) again, if you dont have fonts, make your title either all caps or no caps. i dont know why but sometimes the regular This And This Happened type of this looks just weird.
7) have an epigraph. make it look good to what you think looks good. seriously, epigraphs are literally so cute. but make it match your story and its theme
8) have everything neat and consistent. make sure if you have a space between the title and beginning of the chapter in EVERY SINGLE CHAPTER. i hate when people dont do these things consistently.
9) pick one or the other. dont have names for your chapters then midway through start numbering them. pisses me off.
10) on that note, have GOOD names for your chapters. things that match the chapter.
