this is one of the things you constantly have to mention in your book. it's something that always affects the character.
1) smudges come from nowhere. it happens all the time and you constantly have to clean them. but dont use your shirt! using your shirt makes it 10x worse (90% of the time, depends on the material of the shirt)
2) they fall to the bridge of your nose if you look down too long. like doing the dishes or reading a book. we always use anything to push them back up, shoulder, nearby cabinets, walls, anything. and if you wear makeup or some kinda lotion on your face, its easier for them to fall off.
3) they fog up. they fog up when we open a just finished dishwasher or when we're sipping some coffee or a hot cuppa tea.
4) they get very greasy in the indents where our nose meets the glasses. It's gross and bothers the hell out of me.
5) situations when we have to take them off:
sleeping or laying down
taking off / putting on a shirt
doing cartwheels or handstands
6) need to get prescription for other activities. example: im a volunteer firefighter, but i wear glasses. obviously, when I go into a fire, I'm going to need to be able to see. so, I have to get a mask with my specific prescription. it actually come in in a few days
