Just then, a flash of light shone on me. I shielded my eyes, attempting to hide from its brightness. To no avail, unfortunately. The light seemed to shine from the forest below me, beckoning me to fly towards it.
"Ohh.." I was supposed to follow it. It would lead me to my DSB.
Down, I thought. I immediately zoomed down, my hair whipping in dark brown strands.
The light started moving away from me rapidly. I grew panicked. I simply had to follow the light.
Follow the light, follow the light, I thought hard.
Faster!
I veered myself to the left. The distance between the light and me shortened. Just then, the light stopped and started flashing. On. Off. On. Off.
I flew towards it quickly. Just as I was about to reach for the light, it sank below, submerging itself in the thick leaves of the tree. I groaned and slapped my forehead before making a dive into the forest.
I came crashing into the dry leaves of the forest floor. "Ugh.." I mumbled, dusting ants and leaves off me. Then I saw it.
The light, now bright as ever, was hovering on top of a tree stump. I didn't have the urge to shield my eyes like before, though. The light seemed almost.. welcoming.
I slowly walked towards it, not taking my eyes off the light. As I grew nearer, a bubble seemed to materialise on the tree stump. The words Cindy Sykes appeared at the surface of the bubble, and then, right after I had finished reading my name, it fizzled. A glittery, white substance slowly filled up the bubble, making it look pearly. It was beautiful.
I reached out to touch the bubble, and then hesitated. What would happen if I touched it ?
I mentally cleared out my doubts. This is my destiny.
Soo.. should she touch it or not? Here is my Chap Ten !! I really hope you like it. Comment, vote and fan me ! Peace, love and sour cream, Aretha xx
