IT WASN'T A SECRET THAT YOU WERE A BAD INFLUENCE. bill's mother was worried when you started hanging around him, as it was only a matter of time before you 'corrupted him', and made him a bad kid. she didn't like you, never did. she heard the rumours from around town, other moms annoyed at your very presence. but, you could only smile and wave, knowing there wasn't anything they could do.

bill denbrough was a cute, reserved boy. he always smiled when you walked by in the halls, held the door open for you when he needed, and even helped you in geography class when he could. but you always remained on an acquaintance-basis. well, until a child eating clown rose from his twenty seven year old nap, forcing you and two other outcasts to join his group of friends.

it wasn't a bad thing, actually, you had a lot of fun. but you could tell most of them were uncomfortable by your presence just like most were. all except richie; who thought you were awesome (also a bad influence himself), beverly; who understood what it was like to be judged, and... bill.

you never understood why he liked you so much. you were sarcastic, rude, and not the brightest in school. plus, your ever present bad ideas didn't really fit his personality. you always thought richie would suit you better, but he was always off with eddie or beverly. you two didn't hang out much after you killed pennywise.

though bill and you actually clicked, oldly, and over time, you grew closer. of course, never too close, as you weren't one to commit to anything. but you would admit he was cute, and you might of had a small crush on him for a bit on and off.

which brought you to standing outside his window, a cheesy grin on your face as he was sneaking out. you invited him to watch a movie at the drive in, and he agreed, not knowing it meant sneaking out after curfew and biking across town just to sneak in there aswell. you were holding in your laughter as the goody-two-shoes struggled to climb out his window.

"isn't it sup-posed to be the g-guy who is on the ground?" he whisper yelled, breathing heavily as he let go and slid down the window sill, taking a rough hit on the ground. you winced, crossing your fingers behind your back that his parents didn't hear. it appeared you were lucky as there was no movement after a tense and silent moment. you chuckled, turning on your foot and sauntering off to where your bike laid on his front lawn.

"so h-how do we even g-get in?" bill asked after a minute, hauling his bike over to where you waited, an otherwise blank look on your face. internally, you were screaming about how cute he looked in the moonlight, his normally styled hair messy. you smirked slightly, hopping on your bike as you slowly started off on your journey.

"you ask too many questions."

he snorted, following you.

"WHERE ARE YOU TAKING M-ME?" bill questioned as you biked up the old path to the trailer park. with a grin, you remained silent, taking the overgrown trail at a decent pace. you occassionally winced as a thorn would scratch your leg or arm, but kept pushing forward. bill still followed, even though he didn't understand where you were going. he was extremely loyal. you only laughed, hauling yourself to push against the force of the steep hill.

you let out a sigh of relief when you reached the top and biked behind one of the houses, careful to not disturb anyone (mostly to not get caught). it didn't take bill long to understand where you were as he glanced around, only looking slightly confused.

"i thought we were going t-to t-the drive in?" he asked timidly, watching as you ditched your bike and started to descend the cliff slide. you slid down the hill onto the little overlook and smiled. from your spot, you could see the giant screen and multitude of cars, and there was a soft glow of lights from the post lights on the trailer park. bill slowly followed, saying only a simple 'whoa' at the beautiful scene. above you, the sky was lit up by thousands of stars, creating the perfect backdrop.

you tugged your backpack off, pulling out a blanket to sit on. patting the spot beside you, you gazed down at the big screen, seeing the movie begin to roll. you felt bill sit next to you, not too close, but not far away. it wasn't awkward for you, as you were quite chill with everything and everyone. perks of not giving a shit.

"how did you f-find this place?" he whispered, rubbing his hand on his shorts nervously. you only glanced at him from the corner of your eye, a small smile tugging at your lips.

"its complicated." you mumbled, staring off at the stars over the movie, feeling more in comfort by them. he gave a fleeting look in return, shifting quietly closer to you.

"i... im sorry?" he almost asked, not understanding what the 'complication' was exactly. it made your heart flutter that he still offered some sort of condolence, even if he didn't know your situation. it only made you fall a tad harder, and a blush crept up your neck.

"thanks, billy." you grabbed his cold hand quickly, so you couldn't chicken out, and squeezed it. he tensed up slightly, but you pretended not to notice and watched the beginning of the movie. you could almost hear the drastic change in your heartbeat as he relaxed, returning the gesture.

"y/n?" he asked after a long moment, and you slowly looked over at him, a brow raised. he gulped, averting his gaze in embarrassment for whatever reason, to which you smirked at. maybe he would make the first move.

"yes?" you asked when he didn't continue and he smiled nervously, blushing. your eyes sparkled in amusement, but on the inside you were literally dying as he leaned closer to you, his eyes shifting from yours to your lips. you couldnt help but grin as he kissed you, scooting a bit closer to him so it wouldn't be awkward.

when he pulled back, you could see how flustered he was, so you just decided to leave him alone (normally you would've teased him, 100%) and instead laid your head on his shoulder. it was peaceful, a cheesy smile on your face the entire night. one you would always remember.
