Jungkook instantly froze his face after he said those three words. He didn't even except himself to say that, the words just kind of fell out of his mouth as if he couldn't hold it back.
He couldn't even look at Taehyung's reaction because of how scared he became, so instead he looked down at their intertwined hands while thinking of something to do.
"Y-you w-what?"
The Prince slowly lifted his gaze so he could meet the elders eyes once again. Everyone was still watching the pair in shock and silence, but the two completely forgot that they were in a Ballroom filled with people.
"I-" He began mumbling. "I love you.." Jungkook said, this time his tone sounding more like a realization. He watched Taehyung's eyes grow wider and his jaw drop low which gave him so much anxiety. "Wait." The younger said as he put a finger onto the latters lips.
"We can talk about this when we're alone, is that okay?" Jungkook hopefully asked. There was so much he wanted to tell Taehyung right now but he didn't want to do it in front of the whole Kingdom.
The black haired male slowly nodded, his heart beating over 100 miles per hour which he knew the Prince could feel since their bodies were pressed against each other.
Jungkook didn't really 'want to talk about it later' since he was having so much anxiety. He wanted to know if Taehyung felt the same or not so bad, which obviously he was hoping he did feel the same but he had doubts.
"Let's dance." The younger calmly said as he repositioned his arms, softly beginning to sway the two around the middle of the Ballroom.
Once both Taehyung and the Prince started dancing again, everyone grabbed their partners and copied the pairs action while following the same waltz. Both Jungkook and Taehyung were panicking and their hearts were beating so fast, but they tried to hide it and be patient until the Ball was over.

"Thank you all very much for coming this evening! I'm sorry for the disruption but I hope you all enjoyed your time here as much as I did. I hope to see you again at the next Ball!" The King announced through the microphone, receiving bows left and right from guests until they politely left the room.
"Let's get out of here." Jungkook whispered in Taehyung's ear making the said male smile and nod, the Prince taking the elders pinky and lead him out of the room. The opposite door to where everyone was walking out of.
After being about a mile away from the Castle, the Prince took a turn on the sidewalk while still holding onto Taehyung's pinky. The older had no clue where he was being taken but he trusted the younger.
A little down the sidewalk, Jungkook stopped in front of an all too familiar building making Taehyung slightly open his mouth.
