You were seriously considering suing Aizawa for making you wake up this early.
Sure, it was technically legal for him to make you all wake up at the ass crack of dawn and hop on a bus to go to an undisclosed location, but still. At least your teacher had his comfortable sleeping bag (he had gotten in it at the start of the drive and you hadn't heard a peep out of him since), while you were stuck trying to keep your head from tipping over onto Tokoyami's shoulder. In all honesty, you were pretty sure that if you just asked the bird-headed boy, he would gladly let you get a couple hours sleep on his shoulder, but that would require asking him so and that was not a conversation you ever wanted to have. With anyone.
So, you stayed awake, albeit barely. Outside of the window you saw the cityscape pass by and slowly transform into the wide open country. You had no idea where you were headed–no one did but Aizawa and the driver–but wherever it was, it was certainly going to be in the middle of fucking nowhere.
Eventually the bus slid to a stop, but it didn't appear to have brought you anywhere in particular. As you and your classmates filed out of the vehicle, you looked around to see where this 'training camp' was located, but all you saw for miles was a dense, dark forest.
Another forest? You sweatdropped. Why is this starting to become a theme with me?
"Mr. Aizawa," Iida said, adjusting his glasses on the bridge of his nose. "Where exactly are we?"
Aizawa stuffed his hands in his pockets. "Training camp."
You resisted the urge to roll your eyes. Yeah, we know that. But like, where are we?
Before Iida could rephrase his question (the poor boy thought your teacher had just misunderstood what he meant), a group of four people literally jumped in front of your class, striking a pose in their colorful and coordinated costumes.
"Hello everybody!" One of them said, "We are the Wild, Wild Pussycats!"
The... who?
You had never heard of these people, although it seemed Midoriya had. From your left, you could hear him mumbling to himself in his typical style. It was hard to make out exactly what he was saying, but from what you could gather, they were a group of four pro heroes who had chosen a cat theme for their costumes. Just looking at them confirmed it; they all wore different colors but with matching cat ears and massive cat paws.
I feel like I'm having a fever dream.
After their adorable but slightly awkward introduction, the Pussycats announced that they would be hosting your training camp. It wasn't until Sero tentatively asked where you'd be staying that you realized just how much trouble you were in.
"We have a pretty big cabin," Mandalay, one of the pro heroes grinned. "If you kittens are fast enough, you might make it there by noon."
You gulped. "By noon?"
Before anyone could make a run back to the bus, the ground suddenly began to move and you were all flung forward. The road moved like a wave and you found yourself literally flying through the air, hurtling toward the trees like a ragdoll. Panic set in and you were sure you were going to land face first in the dirt and either embarrass yourself or quite possibly die, when you felt a strong arm wrap around your waist, pull you close, and cushion your landing.
You looked up to see your savior and found that you were wrapped in Shoji's multi-armed embrace. Some of your other classmates weren't so lucky–Mineta was in fact face first in the dirt like you'd feared you would be, Jirou's legs were scratched from her slide down the rock face, and Kaminari was whimpering dramatically.
