CHAPTER 43

"Masasaktan siya kapag mas lalo pa nating pinatagal 'yon, Tito. She also need to know the truth."

"But Zach, hindi naman maaari 'yon dahil katatapos lamang ng operasyon niya kahapon." Boses iyon ni Papa.

"Pero Tito, baka magalit siya satin kapag nagsinungaling pa tayo." Boses naman iyon ng malambing na si Kiara.

"Ma?"

Why are they here in my room? Can't they just talk in the living room? They are so noisy, they know that I don't want to be disturbed specially when I am sleeping.

Tumagilid ako ng pagkakahiga but I almost gasped in pain when I felt a sharp pain in my chest. It was so painful!

"Ahhhh!"

I heard footsteps approaching me, and slowly opened my eyes. All I saw was white. This wasn't my room.

I looked around the room. Nasilaw ako sa sinag ng araw na tumatama sa aking mukha. The curtains were open.

At ngayon lang nagsink-in sa akin lahat.

I was still in the hospital, and my surgery had just ended a while ago.

"Pa..." Muling banggit ko.

"Yes anak ko?"Kaagad namang lumapit sa akin si Papa.

"Katatapos lang ng operation?"

"Hindi anak, tatlong araw na ang nakakalipas." Sagot niya.

I looked at Kiara and Kuya Zach, who were waiting for me. Looks like they haven't rested yet.

"Kiara, Kuya Zach? Rest first, it looks like you haven't slept yet." Nag-aalala kong saad sa kanila.

"We just want to make sure you're fine. That's why we went back here in province just to visit you." Si Kiara.

"Whether you like it or not, we will watch over you until you get home." Kuya Zach added.

I looked around, trying to find the guy I wanted to see right now. I let out a deep sigh because of my disappointment.

I said he should be the first person I see when I wake up, but where is he now? I feel so upset.

"Where is Decxell?" I asked them.

The three of them looked at each other. Tila nagpapauyuhan kung sino ang magsasalita. My eyebrows furrowed when I felt that there was something wrong with their actions.

"Anong meron? Bakit ayaw n'yong magsalita?" Tanong ko pa.

"Kuya Zach? Where is Decxell?" I asked again, but they still didn't answer my question.

Sunod ko namang binalingan ay si Kiara but she just shook her head. I then looked at Mama, and tears started to form in her eyes. She took both of my hands and held them.

"Mom? What's going on?" I asked, confused.

I couldn't help but feel scared and nervous even if I don't know what's going on, pakiramdam ko'y masama 'yon and I really don't like it.

"Ano ba?! Answer me please!Nagmumukha na akong tanga rito. Where is Decxell?!" I exploded because of anger.

Marahas akong umupo galing sa pagkakahiga kanina at nakaramdam muli ako ng sakit. Maybe it was because of the surgery, and my chest wasn't fully healed yet kaya siguro ganito ang nararamdaman ko.
