Twilight melted away, majestic sunrise, red orange glow seeping over the horizon as if the light itself was being poured from a molten sun.

the morning call took its affect on chaeri, bringing her out of bed and to sort out her thoughts before carrying it out for the day ahead.

the melodious chirping from the birds that landed on her window cell could be heard all the way from her room, the birds worked as her alarm clock - loud tone, be it for good or bad.

she stretched her arms upwards as she relaxed her muscle from the sleep, shaking the tense feeling off as she headed out of her room.

//

"morning." chaeri crossed the two man whom where busy with some of their morning tasks.

"do you have any plans today?" hendery asked, caressing the tip of his gun as he wiped the parts of the gun with his handy-dandy cloth.

"no, not really." chaeri sighed, heading to the kitchen to grab an apple.

the apple, so red and sweet it was. the vermillion shade of the apple attracted her ever so dearly, a promise of sweetness within, the subtle sweetness from the apple caressed her skin ever so gently sending her to places she hadn't been before.

wet and crisp as she bit into it, it broke between her teeth with a soft crunch. The lingering sound drifted around her ears, filling her heart with pleasure.

"great, do you want to join us today?" lucas asked as he took out his case of several different type of guns.

"j-join? like...hunting ?" she wasn't sure, she was always against hunting being the animal lover she was, she wanted to protect the animals.

"c'mon it'll be fun." lucas practically shoved the gun into her hand, her palms started forming visible sweat particles as it came into contact with the gun.

suddenly her body felt so weak, she didn't like the feeling of such a dangerous weapon in her hand, she felt like she would be responsible for whoever's death she would cause.

hendery tapped her back as he walked towards the door with lucas, signalling her to follow them. she was still in doubt- all the possibilities and harm she would cause.

yes, she may be timid and coward-liked but that may bring her knowledge and a wiser decision making. though she was timid, that was what kept her from committing mistakes she could never erase.

she was forced against her will, she never wanted to do something she was against, something she never understood.

yet her feet trailed off to it, no longer did she have the rights to decide for herself, she couldn't say no to the ones whom took care of her and fed her such full meals.

she could be sleeping on the streets alongside the creatures in the woods, dead before she knew it, yet they took her in and took care of her so earnestly.

though she was grateful, she just couldn't shake off the suspicion she had from day one, she would tell herself that everything wasn't so complicated and they were just a pair of good men.
