Not a lot of authors bother coming back to tell you guys how to pronounce a character's name so I'll just come back here and tell y'all chiles how to say it.
One specific character, Rui. How to say her name? "Roo-Yee". ROO as in kangaROO and YEE as in YEE-haw. Kind of looks and sounds like "Ruyi" honestly.
And yes, the name means cotton, according to my readers, but that just figuratively adds on to her character in this book I guess? Not really sure but I just came up with it randomly when writing this book so it's a coincidence, it really wasn't intentional from where I stand.
