We were all awoken by my phone ringing and Ellie's phone ringing. Both Alex and Amy were calling us form New York. We both answered at the same time and all you could hear was screams. Once Alex had calmed down, we managed to get her to talk like a normal person. "Charli, Ellie, Amy has just gone into labor and we are on our way to the hospital". That was all we heard because Ellie rushed out to her car and raced home to get her luggage and passports. Leo ran to our room and pulled down the suitcases and passports. We loaded everyone into the car and rushed to the airport where we bought tickets to New York. It was an 8:30am flight and arrival in New York would be 10 to 11:30. The flight was bumpy and also felt slower than usual. We had landed around 10:45 and didn't even both to go to the hotel. The hospital looked really fancy and posh. We met Alex in the elevator and took us up to their room where Amy had given birth. We all walked through the door to a surprise. Amy was laying in this large bed with a lookout over the New York city skyline. Next to her bed there was two small babies sleeping. I nearly passed out and Ellie let out a little scream. Amy was awoken from her slept and with just one look at us a smile erupted on her face. We all made our way over to the little babies. Both Ellie and I picked up one of the little babies. I picked up littlest on of the two. Jupiter Forest was born at 10:36am on 28th of August weighing 5.7 pounds and Leilani Winter was born at 10.57am weighing 5.5 pounds. Both Amy and Alex were very excited with the new arrivals. We all spent most of the day at the hospital with the babies and the new parents. By the end of the day we all collapsed onto our beds in the hotel room and fell asleep.
