Twins Sleepover

A knock on the front door woke me from my nap on the couch. Krystel and Michael were at the door with the twins. Celest was holding on to my leg keeping herself held up. Krystel had packed all the twin's stuff in the suitcase and then handed then over. The twins waved their mum and dad goodbye as they drove off down the driveway. Krystel and Michael were traveling to New York for their honeymoon while stopping off at Florida on the way home. Heaven ended up in Alexander's room while I sorted out the twin's room.

They were around the age of 6 so they didn't need to be put in a cot. They also didn't wet the bed because of the amazing routine Krystel had set up. We spent the rest of the day playing outside in the sand pit and swings. Heaven dug holes in my garden, but I didn't care because there wasn't anything left anyway.

When Leo got home, I took my bike out to get Alexander from a friend's house. I pulled out his helmet and jacket for him before pulling him on to my bike. We drove to the mall and spent sometime there. While we were browsing Alexander stopped in the jewelry and cam of with a C, M and H. He placed the letters very carefully onto my necklace. Then he explained that C stood for Celest, M for Marlene and H for Heaven. I gave him a quick kiss on the forehead. The traffic on the way home was backed up but lucky for us we made our way through the middle. When we both got home, Leo was in the kitchen with my apron on and the three kids in front of the TV. I just laughed because he looked tired and he hadn't even had them for a day.

Once I got them all showered and clothed, we ate dinner with the extended table. We ate tacos with nachos on the side. Leo helped me tuck everyone in and even help sing them to sleep. "Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound. That saved a wretch like me. I once was lost, but now am found. Was blind but now I see" We were both were so tired that we passed out as soon as our heads hit the pillow. Sleep was well earned that night because have 4 children and a puppy is hard work as well as tiring.
