Expecting

3 weeks after the wedding I get a text from Krystel saying need to meet it urgent. I race out of my office and call Leo to tell him that he must pick up Alexander because Krystel has and emergency. I get pulled over 2 times for speeding and only get warnings luckily. I pull up in Krystel's drive and fumble for my keys to get her door open. Michael hadn't come home because the deadlock was still on. I run into their bedroom and see her on the edge of their bed with a blank face. The first thing I do is check every inch of her to look for any injuries. Krystel snapped out of her daydream to tell me she had missed her period. I collapse into a ball on the floor with relieve. She asked me what you thought happened. I let out a sigh and explained that I thought she had been broken into and was badly injured. Once I pulled myself together, she showed me the test with a very strong reading. Krystel offered me a scotch so I took it. After I finished my 3 scotch Michael came through the front door to me partially drunk and Krystel asleep. She woke up and gave him a kiss and beckoned him to sit down on the couch. She slipped the test out of her pocket and placed it into his hands. He picked Krystel up in his arms and squished her so tight that she started to go red. I said goodbye to Krystel from the driveway as I slowly got into my car and drove down the road. I got home around 11 pm because of the traffic. Leo had fallen asleep on the couch with the TV on. I switch the TV off and curled up next to him. I couldn't go to sleep because I had so much on my mind. Krystel's pregnancy brought back a lot of memories like Nevaeh and Chad but it also brought back the most amazing moment in my life, meeting my beautiful baby boy.
