A couple of weeks later when I just put Alexander to bed, I heard a knocking at the door and ran so fast it wasn't funny. Alexander wouldn't go down so when I got him down, I would hope to keep him asleep. Alex, Krystel, Amy, Patricia and Ellie were all at my door with flowers and balloons. Ellie bounced into the house that smelt of cinnamon and caramel. I made everyone a pumpkin spice latte with a hint of caramel and coffee. Alex was surprised by the way I designed the house with like a warm and homey feel to it. I had the fireplace going and some cinnamon candles going. I told them that Leo went off to work and review his photos from New York. Patricia was a little sad when I didn't come to visit her while I was there. I told them how my new assistant Riley fitted in perfectly and how she reminded me so much of our friendship sweet but spicy. They were all excited to see Alexander after such a long time away. I told them how when Alexander wakes up, he is a lot like Krystel in the he is grump and doesn't want to talk at all. After roughly an hour of sleep he woke up and got the biggest surprise when he saw all his aunties are here to see him. Within seconds he jumped out of my arms and ran straight into Ellie's arms. She spun he around in the air until he started jiggling. I never held him jiggle the way he did before. It sounded so pure and innocent that I wanted to protect it with all my power and love. He jumped out of Ellie's arms into Patricia nearly knocking her over. For over an hour he just played with her hair amazed in how it flowed own her shoulders with ease. He loved the way it curled around his little fingers. Patricia's hair was all matted and messed up after the hour long playing. To my surprise he just curled on Alex's lap before falling asleep in Amy's hair. Amy slowly laid him in his crib but kept her hand on his little chest. I was amazed in how my friends made him feel the comfort he needed to fall asleep. Krystel had already put on the TV and somehow knew how I liked the show Orange is the new black because it was on. We all curled up on the couch for a few hours before everyone had to go back to Alex's penthouse. I waved them all good by without noticing a little hand holding onto my leg. Alexander got out of the crib by using his teddy bear. He was so tired that he was asleep on the ground beside my legs. He still had his little arm wrapped around my legs. We both curled up on the couch and fell asleep to the crackling of the fireplace and the smell of burning cinnamon. I woke up to warm arms carrying me from the lounge. Alexander must have been already moved to his crib and Leo must be moving me to the bedroom.
