Baby Shower

Today the day that we all reveal the genders of our babies. We were all at Tongva Park setting up the reveal. Ben was helping set up the tables with Leo even though he and Larissa were no longer together. He still wanted to be there to find out his child's gender. They were still good friends and Larissa wanted him to be at the birth. Alexander was busy playing with Celest in the water park. Michael, Leo, William, Ben and Anthony were setting up the barbeques and coolers out of the cars. Amy was setting up a beach chair and her umbrella. Everyone gathered around the table getting ready to find out the genders. 

One by one we all revealed the genders. First Krystel and Michael walked over to the large white box that said boy or girl. Together they pulled open the flaps to reveal blue balloons floating up. Everyone was ecstatic. After Krystel revealed it was Larissa's shot. Ben brought her bike around to the front and helped Larissa onto it. With a quick rev of the handle a giant powder cloud appeared. It was bright blue causing everyone to go crazy. Ben embraced Larissa in a hug nearly knocking her off of the bike. Next couple to reveal their baby's gender was Alex and Amy. Amy got out of her chair and brought a big black balloon in front of the group. Alex brought the pin up and pop it right on top of Amy's face. She ended up covered in blue confetti and blue glitter. Shocked was all over everyone's faces because so far everyone was having all boys. Once most of the confetti was cleaned up Ellie and William brought out a cake box. They opened to reveal a cake covered in pink frosting. Ellie then cut open the cake to reveal a fully blue cake and blue filling. The group was ecstatic. 

While everyone was eating cake Leo and I set up our reveal. Slowly everyone grouped around us. We both wore white for this reveal. I pitched a baseball towards Leo. With one big swing it exploded into a large blue smoke cloud. I had very little reaction time before nearly getting toppled by Leo and both the kids. Leo had tears falling down his cheeks. Ellie and Alex were covered in blue powder because they were standing behind Leo when he hit the smoke ball. Our whole friend group were having baby boys. 

One by one we revealed our baby's names. Krystel's name was Kieran Phillips. Larissa's name was Axel Jay. Alex's name was Riley Mars. Ellie's name was Beau Jamal. Mine name was Ash Grey. The rest of the evening all the kids and dads had a giant water fight. Leo was using Alexander as a shield from Feyre and Nico's water balloons. William ended up with Levi on his shoulders chasing Michael and Celest. Ellie, Alex, Amy, Patricia and I were all sitting in the shade watching the water war take part. Just as we were about to join in, we felt a warm hand on our shoulders. This nearly gave us all a heart attack. Someone we hadn't seen in a long time decided to come home. The rest of the day finished up with all of us at the beach watching the sun set.
