I can't stop myself anymore. The moment she responded with the kiss makes my body warmer. I cupped her cheeks without stopping the kiss. The kisses we're sharing deepened as our tounges met and our saliva mixed in sweet tastes.

She smiled. Nakagat niya ang kaniyang labi. "I love you, too."

I couldn't help myself but showered her more kisses. I missed her so much to the point I want to own her multiple times.

Nakatulugan namin ang pagod. Nagising na lamang ako nang maamoy ko ang mabangong halimuyak ng sinigang na baboy.

Napamulat ang aking mata; hinihila ako ng masarap na amoy. I checked my body, I'm still not wearing anything so I went up from the bed and find some clothes in my closet.

Pagkatapos ay nagtungo naman ako sa kusina. Nakita ko roon si Meg na nakasuot ng kulay gray na apron; kasalukuyan siyang nakaharap sa gas stove at naghahalo ng nilulutong sinigang.

"You woke up too early. Hindi ka ba napagod?" I smirked.

"Bakit naman ako mapapagod, e, ikaw ang unang nakatulog?"

I grimaced. "I was tired, okay?"

"I was tired, too. I was tired of making you believe that I am your girlfriend."

Napanguso ako. Malaking impact ang ibinigay niya sa akin. "I'm sorry."

Nag-iwas siyang tingin. "Mag-tooth brush ka nga muna. You have a bad breath." She tsked.

Natatawa akong nagtungo sa banyo at saka ginawa ang mga kailangan gawin. Ganito rin siya noon sa akin.

Pagbalik ko ay naghahain na siya ng pagkain. Naupo ako sa kahoy na upuan.

"Kailan ka uuwi?"

Nag-angat siya ng tingin. Inirapan niya ako at saka tumalikod para kuhanin ang ulam sa kusina. Pinanood ko lamang siya.

"Ayaw mo na ba talaga sa akin kaya ganiyan mo na lang akong maipagtikulakan paalis? Baka nakakalinutan mong may nangyari lang sa atin kagabi, ha, Trish?"

Ipinatong niya sa parisukat na lamesa ang ulam na dala; nakalagay iyon sa mangkok. 

Napailing ako. "You are just overthinking, okay? That's not what I mean. I was just concerned. Baka hinahanap ka na sa inyo."

"I texted them that I will sleep here with you. At saka overthinking? Are you with yourself? Paano akong hindi mag-o-overthink e nagkunwari ka ngang hindi mo ako naaalala? The heck, Trish? The heck! Baka nga hindi mo na ako mahal e."

I heaved a deep sigh. I chirped, "I told you I have a reason, and I love you, okay?"

"A reason that you don't want to tell me. How do I suppose to act, huh?"

"You will know soon, okay?"

"I want now," she said, finality is with her voice.

"I really can't tell you now but sure I will tell you soon."

She tsked. "As if I have a choice."

She sat down on her chair. Magkaharap kami ngayong dalawa. Nagkabaligtad lamang ng pwesto dahil nakaharap ako ngayon sa kusina.

We started eating. Silence enveloped us. I was eating my food when a question popped up. I looked at her. She's busy with her food and she's almost done.

"I have a question, Meg," pagsira ko sa katahimikan.

She turned her gaze on me. Her face's serious. "What is it?" Hindi man lang bumuka nang malaki ang kaniyang bibig.

"What if I lie to you? Would you still believe me?"

Her temple knotted but still answered my question. . . and I was dumbfounded by her answer.

"Honestly, no, because you said that you love me and lying only means that you don't trust me and not trusting me means you don't love me. Even though it hurts, I will set you free."
