Depression usually happens when people feel very sad, hopeless, and feels unimportant, and I am feeling the symptoms now. I am depress.
I have to think of a way because there's no way that there's no other way for her to come back to me.
One thing is in my mind, but it's a 50/50. I need to ask Jessica if the child she's carrying is mine for real.
Bumangon ako sa pagkakahiga. I took my phone from my bedside table and as fast as I can, I typed a message.
To: Jessica
Let's meet at the usual place we are seeing each other.
Today's Saturday. The recognition for the champions and runner ups happened yesterday but I wasn't able to attend. I texted Elmer about what happened and he said he will make an excuse for me.
Anyway, I already know how he knew my secret. I remembered that it's his birthday when that happened. Maybe they have their CCTV's in the bedrooms. Tsk. If ever they don't have that kind of camera, maybe, he, himself heard or saw us at that time. Argh!
Minutes passed when I finally received a reply from Jessica.
From: Jessica
Sure, babe.
She's really a whore! I don't want to say this but. . . ang landi niya. The hell! If it's not her, I am not facing this, and if it's not urgent, I don't want to see her.
I replied to her text saying that I will just take a bath and I will go after. After that, I put my phone on the table.
I go up from bed. Agrh! I am only wearing again my gray boxer brief. I am comfortable wearing it only.
Just like what I replied to her, I took my bath and take my trip to the mall.
Yes, this is our usual place.
"May I know your order, Sir?"
Nag-angat ako ng tingin sa nagsalita. He's one of the crews of the facility. "Two drinks and two large fries, please."
Iyon lamang ang naisagot ko. Nakita ko ang kaniyang pagtango. "Noted. Coming, Sir."
Sometimes, the foods are not the reason why people go to fast food chains like this. Sometimes, it's because of the ambiance. . . and free wireless fidelity.
Almost ten minutes when Jessica finally arrived.
"I ordered foods already, I don't want this talk takes too long, Jessica. I have to ask you a question."
"What is it, babe?"
I tsked. Malandi talaga siya.
"Am I really the father of the child you are carrying?"
She stopped eating. She sipped from the iced tea drink I ordered as well. Hindi ko pa napapakialaman ang pagkain ko. Wala pa rin akong gana.
"I don't need to answer that question, Trishtan." She then gets serious.
My temple knotted. What is she talking about?
"What do you mean?"
She crossed her arms. She rested her back on the chair and looked at me intently in the eyes. "I won't answer your question but I will tell you one thing."
She closed her eyes. Ang paghinga niya ay kitang-kita ko.
"Ano 'yon?" Papatayin ako ng kuryosidad ko. The hell! Tsk!
"I miscarriage the baby, Trishtan. It's one month ago but I chose to keep it in myself only."
My eyes grew bigger because of shock. I slammed the table but I controlled the force. Hindi ito lumikha ng malakas na tunog.
"What the hell are you talking about, Jessica? Are you even serious?"
Malalim siyang bumuntong-hininga. Inirapan niya pa ako.
"Do you think I am joking?"
"Do you think I will believe you? If you miscarriage the baby then why you still look like you are pregnant?"
"It's just a prop, okay?" She then stood up revealing her not so fit body. Muling nanlaki ang mata ko.
I gritted my teeth. She should have said it earlier than today so Meg and I haven't parted our ways.
Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin.
"What the fuck? Y-You fooled me."
She smirked. "That's what you deserve, Trishtan."
I closed my eyes to prevent the tears to go out. I looked at her full of rage.
"You should have said it earlier, Jessica. You don't know how much hurt I am now."
She just smiled. Fuck! I want to scratch her face right now.
"Well, you never ask, Trishtan. You should ask me how I am. You were too focused romanticizing your secrets that's why you never think that I might be miscarrying the baby."
I bit my lower lip.
"We are now done, Jessica. Don't ever show yourself to me anymore."
I will go to Meg's house. She needs to know about this.
