"I'm really sorry. Let me explain, Trish."
I was alone in my unit when she entered and start saying something. It's good that I am wearing my jogging pants now so I am not almost naked. Tsk!
I remembered that she knew my code that is why she can enter my unit anytime she want. I must change it as soon as possible.
"I told you I want to be alone, Meg. Besides, I told you that I don't want to see you yet. Don't you understand that?"
"Just leave, Meg."
The moment she disturbed me, I haven't showed any emotion. Today's Tuesday and just like yesterday, I haven't go to school. I am still tired.
The hell! I should be thankful because nothing bad happened when I drove my way back to this unit.
"I won't leave unless you talk to me," pagmamatigas niya.
I looked at her. Her eyes are weary, so am I. I am sure of that.
"I am talking to you already," I sarcastically said. "Now, go outside or I'll call the guard?"
It hurts me, too, telling her that. Argh! Ayokong maging marupok.
Can't you do that?"
I heaved a deep and rough sigh. I almost scratch my head.
"What do you want?"
"You," she answered.
I remembered when we won our championship game last Friday. What she said to me that time already sticked in my heart.
I will tell her that, too. "I'm sorry, Meg, but I can't give you what you want. Now, if you don't have anything to say, you must leave my unit."
"No."
"What the hell, Meg? What more do you want?"
Muling nagtama ang aming mga mata. "Let me explain, Trish."
I guess I don't have a choice anymore. Para matapos na 'to, I'll let her. After this, we are totally done.
"Make it fast, Meg, pagkatapos ay umuwi ka na. Matutulog pa ako."
I lied. Baka hindi na ako makatulog pagkaalis niya. Hindi pa rin ako kumakain kaya for sure, I will just overthink again. Of course, I always tend to overthink. If that's a job, I am sure I am already promoted.
"Just like what I said, what you saw is not what you are thinking."
My eyebrow almost connect. I didn't speak. I let her continue what she's saying.
"He blackmailed me."
