That day, we went to my unit. Yes, after that scene, we just took our bath together and we had our way to my condo. Now, we are here in the training area. I just finished my game and it was a three-set straight win.
I am with Meg. My teammates are all out. I just wanna do training since the semi-finals will about to happen tomorrow.
We are both wearing jersey shirts and shorts— no, she's wearing her cycling revealing her white legs. Well, I don't have anything to say.
We are the doing passing of the volleyball.
I'm starting to feel tired.
This is the perk of having a volleyball player girlfriend.
The ball went back at my side but instead of receiving, I caught it. I looked at her then. Her face is full of sweat.
"Are you tired?" I asked as I wiped my sweat using my white towel.
She nodded. "Hmm. I can still play."
I walked towards her. I wiped her sweat, too. "Ako na," she snorted.
"Let's stop, you are tired. What do you want to have? I'll buy you drinks in the cafeteria," I suggested but she shakes her head.
"No— I mean, let's go to the mall. Let's watch sine?" nakalabing aniya.
Nagpaawa pa siya sa harapan ko. Hindi ko mapigilang mapatawa. She's cute when she's doing it. She's always cute tho.
"Sige. Let's go take shower first."
I have no intention but to shower only but she looked at me like I have something good in mind.
I can't help but chuckle. "What?"
"Don't you dare do something."
I grimaced. "You are the one who only thinks that way, Meg."
She bit her lower lip. Her face flushed red. "Good. . . besides, you can't do it."
"And why is that?"
She looked at me wearing her reddish face. Nahampas niya pa ako sa braso.
"You're so naughty."
I smiled. "Sa 'yo lang naman, Meg."
She shrugged her shoulder. "Of course. Sa ganda kong ito. Hindi mo na ako dapat ipagpalit."
Naiiling akong sinundan siya. Heto na naman siya at nagyayabang. I can't stop myself to laugh in my mind.
Dumiretso muna kami sa dorm makapag-shower. The shower room in the training area has no water. Tsk!
"I forgot. May nakita nga pala akong singsing last week. Tingnan muna natin."
I looked at her.
"Let's go," tango ko. I extended my hand which she accepted. I smiled. Oo nga pala, she doesn't mind doing things in public.
We went to the jewelry shop. We did sightseeing on the rings on the shelves. There are lots of rings with their brand.
While browsing the shelves. There's this ring that caught my attention. It has a diamond in the middle and it's good in bare eyes. I like it. I feel like it's beautiful. . . if Meg is the one to wear it.
"What do you think of this?"
She's pointing the silver ring. It's plain but it's an infinity ring that made it unique from the others. Also, its lining has pieces of I don't know what to call it. The thing is it's red and it's shining as light traced on it.
"Hmm. It's good, wanna buy it?"
She's thinking. She looked at me and I just smiled, telling her that I will support her if she wants to buy it. No worries, I can buy it for her if she left her card.
But she refused.
"Are you sure?"
She nodded. "Hmm. Let's go? Let's eat first, Trishtan? I'm hungry." Hinimas niya pa ang kaniyang tingin.
I chuckled. "Sige.
Geez.
"Meg," I said.
"Hmm," she answered.
"Please don't leave me again. I can't live my life without you." Yes, I said that in the middle of the big mall, with a lot of people around.
She stopped walking. She looked in my eyes and dive in its emotions. "I will not, Trish. I will not if you won't give me a reason to do so."
I smiled. "I promise not to give you reasons to do that." I then kissed her forehead. Again, yes, in public.
I can live without eating anything, too. Basta kasama ko siya.
We ordered already. "Gusto mo ba ng shawarma?" I asked.
It's one of her favorites.
"Will you buy one for me?"
I smiled. "Of course, Meg. I'll buy it for you."
One more thing, it's good that I will the only one to buy her shawarma. I can do what I need to do.
May pinuntahan pa ako bago ako bumili ng shawarma niya. I want to surprise her later so I bought her the ring I saw earlier.
She loves jewelry, but she rarely uses them. She just wants to collect them but this time, she needs to wear what I will give her.
