Korei woke up to the feeling of Hanta's hand brushing through her tangled hair. He was being careful, making sure to undo the knots as gently as he could. She hummed and snuggled closer to him, her hand sliding up from his abdomen to his chest. Hanta knew she was awake now, knowing she rarely moved in her sleep. "Morning, sweet pea, " he rasped out, his voice still thick with sleep despite having woken up almost thirty minutes ago. "How'd you sleep?"

"Amazing, " she mumbled, not even bothering to clear her own throat. Hanta smiled, happy to hear that she had slept well. "I had this perfect dream about this really handsome guy who I'm engaged to." She hummed, rubbing his chest.

"Really? I wonder who that could be, " he hummed and Korei snickered, sitting up in the bed, letting the comforter fall into her lap. "Wanna brush your teeth with me?" He asked, leaning in to peck her lips softly. She smiled and nodded, knowing they both really needed to. Hanta hummed and kissed her once more before getting out of bed. He grabbed some clean briefs and tugged those on while Korei just pulled on his sweatshirt. "Don't hog the whole mirror, alright? I get it, you're gorgeous but I need to see what my face looks like while I'm brushing my teeth, too."

"You're just dying to see white stuff dripping out of the corners of your mouth, aren't ya?" She teased, pushing the door to the bathroom open. Hanta smacked her butt harshly, hearing her quiet gasp before she looked back at him. He stuck his tongue out and Korei couldn't help but laugh. "You're such a dork, babe."

"Yeah but I'm your dork, " he hummed and she stopped. Her eyes stared at his hands as he grabbed his own toothbrush, not forgetting to grab her's for her. "Babe?" Hanta asked, worried that she was spacing out. "Korei, what's wrong?"

"Absolutely nothing, Hanta, " she grinned, taking her toothbrush. They both put some toothpaste on their brushes, Korei letting her fiance wet the toothpaste on his brush first. "It's just that you're mine. We're engaged and today's our anniversary." She listed the milestones they've completed. "Can you believe that? Hanta! We've been together for an official year, today!"

"I know, babe. It's been exactly a year since I ate you out in my bathroom, " he held up a finger, a smirk on his thin lips. "For the first time. And now?" He motioned to the bathroom they were standing in, Korei brushing her teeth. "Now we're in our bathroom, in our apartment. I think I got really lucky too because you're the love of my life and we're actually engaged." He smiled and Korei just nudged his elbow, knowing that she'd kiss him if she didn't have toothpaste in her mouth. Hanta chuckled and started brushing his own teeth, feeling like his whole life was complete.

After brushing their teeth, they both headed to the kitchen to try and make breakfast. Hanta was teaching Korei how to make vegan fluffy pancakes, something his nan always made for him, but the girl was not getting it. She didn't have a single cooking skill and she was having so much trouble trying to figure it out. Hanta was doing his best to help her out and she was only able to understand a few things.

"I'm sorry that I'm ruining them, " she pouted, pulling her sleeves up once again because they were falling down her arms. Hanta rolled his eyes at her, not really caring. The breakfast was just because they were both starving.

"Look, you're learning and that's fine. I think you'll get a handle on it if you keep trying, " he smiled, patting her head and causing her to flush red with embarrassment. She smacked his hand away and then tried to focus on cooking. "We've got until we run out of aquafaba." He shrugged. "We'll make as much as we can so that you can get a hang on it."

"But that's so many pancakes. We can't eat them all, " Korei said, looking up at her fiance when she should have been paying attention to the pancake in the pan. Hanta chuckled, shaking his head and telling her to watch the food. Korei squeaked out a 'sorry' and turned her attention back to the slightly burnt pancake.
