"Stop moping, Korei, " Gran said as she smacked the green-haired girl on the leg. Korei groaned and sat up, looking at her grandmother. "Look, Hanta's been around here more than once. I can tell you that he loves you, sweetheart. Now, with the amount of time that you've been in my house, I'm a little confused about how you feel towards him. Either break up with him or go get married."

"Gran, are you kicking me out?" She asked, brushing her hair out of her face. She was honestly a mess and she just got worse as the weeks passed. The first week, she started her internship and continued going to school, but the second week was much harder. She had to go to work, school, and her internship. This past week has been a rather relaxing week. Korei had time to sit down and think about what she wanted to do in life, but Hanta's betrayal always made her feel like she was reopening a wound that hadn't fully healed yet. She didn't want him out of her life but she didn't know if she could go back to loving him the same. "Not cool. I haven't even had enough time to think about what I want for dinner, how are you gonna tell me that I've had enough time to decide if I want to leave Sero or not?"

"Don't be a cunt, " the old lady spoke, her eyes narrowing into thinner slits than normal. "You've had plenty of time to think about it and you keep choosing not to. He cheated on you, get over it. Most relationships deal with that. If you're telling me that you're can't even say his first name then I'm telling you that your mind has already been made up. Get off my couch and get your things together. I understand you've had a hard time but I'm telling you that if you keep 'thinking' about it then you'll never go back to him." Gran explained, shrugging her shoulders as Korei stood up from the couch. "I'm not telling you to let people walk on you, but I'm just saying that if you truly love him then this isn't the end."

"Gran, remember that job I was telling you about?"  Korei asked, dusting off her pants. Gran nodded and the green-haired girl sighed. "Well, I can't get it unless I have at least two years of experience. This internship is transferring to America in a few months and they've been asking some of the interns if they'd sign on with them. You know what that means?"

"Well, that depends. Did you sign on with them or not?" Gran asked and Korei tucked a strand of hair behind her air. Of course, she had signed on. Korei always wanted to be a biophysicist and she had a golden opportunity. She didn't even hesitate. Maybe it was the heat of the moment. Maybe it was because of her anger at Hanta for what he had done. Maybe it was a mix of both of them but she really should have thought about it more. It's not like she couldn't find another job opening, one that didn't require so much experience. It was just that she felt like she didn't really have a reason to stay behind and look at anything else, she lost Hanta and she knew she couldn't stay with her grandmother.

"Yeah, I signed on with them. That's why I've been having to make all of those phone calls to transfer my credits to the college near the facility. I mean, it's the only reason why I have this week off, Gran." She mumbled out, fluffing a throw-pillow and setting it aside on the couch. "I don't want Hanta to get mad at me for it."

"You're the dumbass who made the decision so you better accept the consequences, " Gran retorted, smacking her on the shoulder with one of the pillows that she held. Korei nodded, walking to her old bedroom, which was turned into a guest room after she had officially moved out. She had been staying there for the past four weeks. "I'm not letting you hide here anymore! He deserves at least a little closure."

"I hate how I always turn into the bad guy, " Korei muttered to herself before opening her door and grabbing her duffle bag. Most of her stuff was still in the bag because she was always planning on going back home. It's just that every week was something new and another reason for her not to go home.

While she was packing up her room, Hanta was sitting on top of a nearby building with Denki and Mineta. The trio was smoking and also keeping watch over the city. There was nothing going on and Hanta really wasn't even on patrol, he was just bored. He hasn't done much besides getting high and hanging out with his high school friends.
