Lucas' POV

I'd just found out that I wake up on a different bed so I immediately stood up. I saw myself without my coat and my necktie. What the fck just happened?

I opened my phone and there's so many missed call from Danny. I check my latest messages. It was all from Chaster.

From Chaster:
Meet me at your office. Don't come home yet. Let's talk.

I walked outside and saw Astrea preparing food. I went near here and grabbed her arm. "What the hell happened?"

"Sir, Gising na po pala kayo. Thank you po pala sa pagbantay sa hospital kagabi. Hindi na po kayo nagising kaya dinala ko muna kayo sa apartment ko." she explained.

"Why you didn't wake me up in the first place?! Look, what you've done."  I grabbed my coat and walked immediately towards the door.

"Sir, I prepared some breakfast." she shouted but I slammed the door and walked outside. I massaged my forehead and called Danny. Sht, Look what she made me do.

I tried to call her but she won't answer. I called Chaster instead and  he immediately picked it up. "Where the hell are you?"

[At your office. Come here, bastard. I might tell you something important.] he said and hang up. I crossed my eyebrows and put my phone on my pocket.

I immediately took a cab and tried to called Bee again and again. Hope nothing happened.

Chaster's POV

I dialled Lucas' number and a girl just answered my call. Sinubukan kong kumalma. Pero pucha, Gusto kong manapak. It's not her secretary! I knew her voice.

"Hello? Sino to'?"

[Where are you?]

"Bee, Let's sleep. . . I heard Lucas om the background."

Pinatay ko ang tawag ko at lalo ko pang nahigpitan ang hawak sa cellphone ko. Kinukuha pa iyon ni Danny kaya hindi ko iyon binigay at patuloy lang na nakipag-agawan.

  "Sure, bro. See you tom. Just so you know your wife is really worried." I said sarcastically. I closed my fist and looked at Danny's innocent face.

"Uhm, panget. Inasikaso ni Lucas yung uhm. . . Yung hotel & restau kaya hindi siya makauwi?  Nag-stay muna siya sa—teka. . . Anong tawag don? Hotel don sa branch namin. . . Hindi siya makatawag kasi nalowbatt siya kanina at ngayon lang nag-charge. Baka uuwi siya ng umaga bukas. Huwag ka ng mag-alala. Okay siya. . . Okay na okay!" I lied. I don't want hurt to see her cry because of that jerk.

Sumandal siya sa sofa at huminga ng maluwag. "Argh, Hindi mo man lang ako pinakausap! By the way, Salamat ah."

She looked at me with his curios face. "Danny. . ." I  uttered. I want to tell her the truth for pete's sake!
