Chapter 37

Danny's POV

Chaster and I went to the terrace and watched the sea together. The sweet feeling of the breeze plus the beautiful sunset were great. It released stress.

It's really cold. We were supposed to be at the company party this time. He must be in some kind of trouble for sure. "Are you sure they won't be looking for you?"

Huminga siya ng malalim at ngumiti ng bahagya. "I am. Maybe Dad will beat me when I come back. Flores Corp. doesn't have any representative in our local business. Maybe, I also need to give a speech for the company's success."

"Are you crazy? Why are you still here? You should hurry and call Landon. Tell him." Sabi ko at hinampas ang braso niya.

"Why would I? I don't care." He looked at me and parted my hair.

"When are you going to tell him that you knew everything?" He asked.

"I don't know."

"We're going back to the Philippines the day after tomorrow. Do you need some time? I can go first. I'll talk to Celestine to look after you."

"No need. Let's meet at London's eye. Let's see the whole city all the way to the top . . . together. I'm coming with you."

"You promise?" Chaster asked and giggled. I nodded and held his hand. 

"Yes." 

"Danny, I have no idea why I am so in love with you after all this time. But even if you tear me to pieces or even if you reduce me to ashes, I would still go back and give you my heart."

"Thank you." I said and looked into his eyes.

"And I love you." He replied. Lumapit siya sa akin at niyakap ako.

"The truth is that I tried to ignore you for the longest time but here you come and mess me up again. The smile that you put on my face is enough for me to actually take all the risks there ever is. " He whispered.

"Chaster, I have no clue where we will be heading but as long as I am with you I know I can make it."

MORNING 9 A.M.

Magpapark na sana si Chaster sa parking lot nang biglang may humarang sa gitna ng daan. Bumalik na kami sa hotel para umattend sa meeting niya ulit mamaya. Nakita ko si Lucas at pinukpok niya ang harapan ng kotse. Pumunta siya sa gawi ko at kumatok sa windshield.

"Danny. . ." Lumingon si Chaster sa akin at binuksan niya ang lock ng pinto.

"I got this." I said and smiled. Binuksan ni Landon ang pinto at hinila ang kamay ko. Pinababa niya ako sa kotse at sinara ng malakas ang pinto pagkatapos.

"Landon, It hurts." Iritang sabi ko pero patuloy niya lang akong hinila. "What the hell is wrong with you?"

"You're coming with me." Seryosong sabi niya. Pumasok kami sa room 405 at agad niyang sinara ang pinto at binitawan ako. Napahawak ako sa kamay ko na namumula dahil sa pagkakahawak niya.

"Where were you last night?" Seryosong tanong niya at tinignan ako nang matalim.

"I said where were you last night?!" He exclaimed.

"It's none of your business. I'm going." Sagot ko at pumunta sa may pintuan. Humarang siya sa pinto at hinampas 'yon ng malakas. He's mad like an asshole. Napasabunot ako sa buhok ko at hinarap siya.
