Chaster's POV
We decided to stay in a small cottage near the seaside. It was really cold and the temperature was at least ten degrees. There's a jacuzzi pool and a fireplace but I guess it was not enough.
"I'll buy some food. You stay here."
"Add some beer." She added. Nakita ko siyang umupo bago ako tuluyang lumabas. Nagmamadali akong bumili ng pagkain dahil sobrang lamig talaga. I'm just wearing a single coat without gloves and anything.
I knocked from outside and I saw Danny wearing a wardrobe. Pumasok ako at naramdaman ko na rin ang silbi ng fireplace. Kinuha niya ang beer sa akin at agad tinungga 'yon. Umupo siya sa sofa kaya sumunod na lang din ako.
Silence. All I can here was her gulping sound. Tumayo siya sa kinauupuan niya at hinubad ang wardrobe. I was about to look away but she kicked my knees. She's wearing clothes. Naglakad siya papunta sa jacuzzi at doon ininom ang beer.
"Jerk!" She hissed. Damn it, I almost got a heart attack! My heart's pounding all the time.
"Aren't you cold in there? This feels nice. It's warm."
"Yeah, it is." I agreed. Tumayo ako sa kinauupuan ko at naglakad papunta doon. When else has she been like this? She's kind of hot— I mean No!
"No, I'm okay. You stay there. I'll stay on the fireplace." Tumalikod ako sa kaniya at napahawak sa noo ko. Fudge, she's tempting me.
"What's wrong with you? You're shivering and want to stay in the fireplace?" She asked innocently.
"Y-yes, I will." Nakatalikod pa rin ako sa kaniya. Niluwagan ko ang tie ko at kinuha ang beer sa lamesa.
"And you're scared you'll drown? Chaster, Mababa lang to."
"I am. . ." I answered.
"Tss. Sort kind of weak shit?" I looked at her and smirked.
"Then, fine." Hinubad ko ang pants ko pati narin ang coat at long sleeve. I'm only wearing a shorts and a sando.
Dahan-dahan akong umupo at sinubukang umiwas ng tingin. Why so hot in here?
"I didn't know you worked out." She said and laughed. I stared at her while laughing. "You know, Abs?"
"Tss, tingin ka diyan? Or should I say, that was fake?"
"Stop." Ininom ko ang beer ng tuloy-tuloy. "Are you drunk?" I hissed.
"Wait, Why are you facing that way? Nababaliw ka na ba? Ikaw, ata ang lasing eh." Sabi niya at winisikan ako ng tubig.
"Don't tell me? You haven't swam with a woman before? My gosh Chaster, you're in your 30's."
Lumingon ako sa kaniya at umirap. "Cheers?" Sabi niya at siya na mismo ang nagdikit ng bote niya sa baso ko.
"Did you speak to him?"
"I wish we were but I can't endure the pain. Both of us saw them earlier. I can't barely take it."
"Clear things up with him first. I don't know Landon's side so I can't tell what's on his mind?.
"You really can't. But the certain thing I know, he lied to me, he broke my trust. . . our relationship. I should have done better. I did my best, I loved him as much as I could but he still cheat–"
"It's not your fault. Cheating isn't part of the process, it's a choice."
Lumapit siya sa akin at unti na lang ang pagitan namin sa isa't-isa. Sumandal siya sa balikat ko at tumingin sa akin.
