Danny's POV

"Mommy, They ate it." Napatingin ako kay Lizette na kasama ngayon ni Lucas. I just smile while watching them feeding those cute little birds.

We've been great. Simple and happy. No threats, no problems and just the three of us. Hindi ko pa namemeet si Carson dahil busy siya sa mga gawain niya. The last thing I know, sooner or later ikakasal na siya. By next year or next month? They all refused talking to me but Carson wasn't the same. I actually haven't heard of my family and my old friends. I know it's too selfish but this is all I've wanted from the start. A peaceful family.

Lumapit si Lucas sa akin at ngumiti. At first, I thought it's weird but he sat down beside me. "Carson is here."

"He is?" Pag-uulit ko at tumingin sa kaniya.

"My mom called me. I'll take care of Lizette, so you may go. I know you miss your childhood friend. I'll be waiting for dinner." He said and kissed my forehead.

Binuhat niya si Lizette at nagpaalam silang dalawa sa akin. Kinuha ko ang phone ko at agad tinawagan si Carson. Sa lahat ng mga kaibigan ko siya lang ang hindi nagalit sa akin. Maybe, he understands me so far?

[Danny? My mom told me you're looking for me for weeks? Did you miss me already?]

"I do. Where are you?"

[Home. I'm home, Daniella.] He stated.

Siya ang sumalubong sa akin pagkadoorbell ko pa lang sa bahay nila. Agad ko siyang niyakap at pinapasok naman niya ako sa loob. "My fiancè will be jealous if she saw us."

"She will? Goodness, I'm married." I said and raised my eyebrow. "Andito siya? I want to say hi."

"Nope. I'll just stay here for five days. Hinahanap mo raw ako kaya ako umuwi."

"Wow, You never changed." I smiled and pinched his cheeks. Umupo kami sa upuan sa labas at naglagay naman ng juice ang mga maids sa lamesa.

"I heard about Lucas' daughter. Not Lizette, from that woman, Astrea?" I looked at him and nodded.

"Oh, About that. . ."

"You still chose him, do you? Look, I'm on your side. . . Always, but can't you really see his mistakes? Danny, It's just not right. . . "

"How's Chaster?" I cut him off that made him stare at me.

"Chaster?" Huminga siya ng malalim at uminom rin ng juice. "You shouldn't have asked."

"What's wrong? Is he okay?"

"He has changed. I have no idea. He's like Chaster's evil twin. You can't even recognize him."

"W-why? What happened to him?"

"He has the Flores Group, right? Meaning, he has a lot of money. Ton of it. He's now obsessed with drinks, liquors and even women. He dated girls and changed them everyday. I don't want to say this but,"

"But w-what?"

"He really changed. Luke, James and I tried to talk with him but nothing happened. He became a womanizer, Danny. And I always know it's not his thing. There's always a woman wearing whatever sexy clothes in his office."

"That's his choice. Chaster knows what he's doing. It's his way to escape his reality."

"So just let him be? Danny, I'm always on your side. Ever since and you know that! Don't make me change sides. You're always the Danny I know."
