A Thank You

Hi loyal readers, friends, and supporters. I cannot thank you all enough for the endless support you have given this story. When I first started writing it in March 2020, I had freshly finished Fix Your Attitude and was absolutely smitten with starting my own story. I never and I mean never thought my story would get as much attention as it has! I completely came up with the concept on the spot, the names of the other characters on the spot and just fell in love with it. So I ran with it! It was definitely a rocky first couple of chapters and not all the writing was *great* but I have since gone back and rewritten / added to the initial chapters. And I am truly proud of the work I created. Over 30 chapters of pure heart and soul poured into every character, the storyline, every twist and turn.

I also took everyone's criticism and comments into my mind when writing the story. While most comments were very entertaining, and I loved reading them, some of you guys had shared opinions on how the story would end. Which I appreciated!

Because that is how we ended up with Falcon Solo!

Most readers were in favor of a happy ending with a child and I eventually came around to the idea. I knew I was not going to have them get married, I honestly can't imagine Kylo ever married. I think that it would just be a mutual agreement between Kylo and reader that they're soulmates. And I really just loved the idea of a mini Kylo (in terms of looks).

Here are just a few overall questions I wanted to answer.

Why is this a depiction of an abusive relationship?

No not all of it was abuse, but the reader becomes very emotionally dependent on Kylo, to the point where she makes excuses for all her injuries caused by him. It is not healthy in the slightest.

Why are there so many time jumps?

While I'm sure love at first sight does exist, Kylo would realistically never open up within a month or two. The initial relationship between reader and Kylo lasts over many months and eventually a year has passed by the time he is redeemed.

Why was Kylo so abusive at first?

Because Kylo is violent and abusive.... and please be aware that I do not condone this!! It's just my opinion as to how I think he'd be.

Why did the reader (or the queen) leave her position?

Well not only did her administration start treating her like shit (could be expected), Kylo had also given up his entire life for her at this point. I thought it would be unfair for him to do this and reader not want to do the same.

Why did you choose Maz Kanata's planet for them to settle?

I thought it was symbolic considering what he did to her planet when he was looking for BB-8 in TFA. It was also very aesthetically pleasing and reminiscent of Chandrila.

How did you pick Falcon's name?
Well I wanted something sentimental, would fit in the SW universe of kinda odd names, and made sense as it's the name of the Millennium Falcon. It just stuck.

Why did you change the first chapters?
Well because the writing in them was just awful. I didn't want that to be people's first impression of my story.

Why wasn't there more smut?
I'm not good at writing it first of all. Secondly this is a relatively short story and I think I provided a decent amount for the length of this book.

Will you write a second book for this story?
No. I do not plan on continuing this story and feel that the epilogue was a good ending.
