"No no, cooking pans do NOT have wings, this is not an excuse to throw pans Hendery! Who told you that? — Lucas! Where did you get all those bugs?! Throw them out! — Yuta! Stop pinching your brother! Donghyuck! What did I tell you about disrespecting Doyoung?! He's older than you!"

It was a complete disaster. Taeyong, in his whole twenty three years of existence, would have never foresee the fact he'd end up darting back and forward, endlessly scolding and calling of the attention of children below ages of twelve. The house was a complete catastrophe. Pieces of plates shattered into millions, flying pans and pillows, babel of children voices reverberated the poor household. At this point, he knew sooner or later the neighbors would file a complaint for him, and what more if they would force Taeyong to move houses.

"Jisung! What's that?! CHITTAPHON."

He's twenty four now. And by then he should've been having a decent life and a stable job, probably a healthy love life too. If Taeyong wasn't so patient and so considerate as he was now, he would've dropped these kids outside the cold world without an ounce of care or love. But he's been in that stage where both his parents never loved him, maybe that's why he understood what these kids are going through, but never realized it.

Two days of having these kids and the damn thirty year old tricked him into thinking these children are God-sent angels. But look at what they did to this house, HIS house. Everything was unkempt, it's as if HE was the one who thrashed his own place. But he isn't really the type to do so anyway.

The damn kids.

"Johnny?! What are you doing?! Put down mark! I said we're not having cookies TONIGHT."

Taeyong yelled, stomping his way to the two kids attempting to reach the top cabinet. He carried the squirming younger and set him down on his two feet. "Mommy pleasee. I'll be a good good boy." Mark had this puppy eyes flashed to Taeyong. He didn't know why but Mark kept calling him a mom. He knew he's a man, why not father? Taeyong blinked. If Taeyong were to give up and let the children have access to sweets instead of healthy salads, he'd be coming home to 19 basketballs rolling across the wooden flooring, and he wouldn't want that.

Just like any other parent, he crossed his arms and gave him 'the stare' in which, just two days some of the kids he sheltered were aware of  'the stare'. Mark is one of them and he knew that mentally screamed 'No means No.'

Mark, with his head lowered in dissapointment, tugged the sleeves of the taller boy and dragged him away from Taeyong.

Atleast Mark and Johnny aren't really as rowdy as the remaining seventeen.

But Taeil is an exception. He's fine.
So sixteen.

Sixteen uncontrollable children.

Taeyong huffed out an exhausted sigh. He stretched his arms and back, resulting a satisfying crack. It's not even ten minutes and Taeyong felt as if he just finished  a running marathon.

Seeing that most of the children were probably upstairs, he took this opportunity to go to the sofa and take probably a three year nap. As he was about to close his eyes a suddent shrill of pain rung through Taeyong's ears. He instantly shot up and sprinted towards the area.

The kitchen.

And in that moment he felt his heart drop.

Xiaojun could be seen pressed against the kitchen counter, his leg soaked with red liquid trickling down his knee to the floor. What seemed like a piece of glass penetrated his knee resulting a stretched cut. Just above him, YangYang was seen smiling as he slowly pushed a metallic bowl filled with boiling hot liquid completely unaware that Xiaojun was beneath it.

Everything felt as if it's in slow motion and Taeyong was so close in having a heart attack. With one blink of an eye, YangYang successfully threw over the bowl just to have a spot on the counter top and the bowl tipped and fell. Without thinking, Taeyong rushed in as fast as he can.

And in that moment, a loud scream erupted from the kitchen.
